Cassandra has been at PAWS so long, that we found her trying to catch the bus to a new home!
She is a very friendly and affectionate girl! She loves to play with toys and snuggle with her people. She also walks well on a leash. Cassandra has lots of energy and is looking for a family that can provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She would love to have a canine sibling to play with, but would not do well in a home with children or cats.

Please submit an application if you are interested in adopting Cassandra!

Our Story

Your Pet's Personal Groomer Comfort and familiarity is key when selecting a groomer to care for your pet. Never worry about who your groomer will be on your next visit, at Joyce's your pet is always booked with their own personal groomer.

Joyce has had a natural relationship with animals since childhood , starting as a baby when her parents had trouble keeping the family cat out of her crib. That later turned into tea parties with the family pets and then into training the family dog to pull a baby buggy with the cat in it! Through the years cats , dogs , rabbits , birds , gerbils , hamsters , etc.... came and went. Her mother worked for a veterinary hospital that she frequently visited and learned from. After high school she worked as a kennel attendant and at a pet shop. Then in the early 80’s started as a bather at her mothers grooming shop ( The Grooming Spot ), where she quickly learned to groom. In the year 2000 her mother retired and Joyce started her own grooming shop, currently know as Joyce’s Dog and Cat Salon.
