Poor Mac discovered that rattlesnakes are not his friend. Here is a picture of Mac after being bitten twice in the face by a rattlesnake and how he looked after his treatment with antivenin. Mom says he is feeling much better now! We hope he learned his lesson! As you can see, rattlesnake bites can cause severe swelling and pain, along with other more serious problems. Prompt action and treatment provide for the best possible outcome. Rattlesnake season is here, please call if you need more information on the rattlesnake vaccine or have rattlesnake related questions.

These very cute kitties are starting their search for a furrever home. They were a surprise litter that Dr.Venezio found in her chicken coop a few weeks ago.
🐾These cuties will be here with us all day tomorrow, 5/21, to get their first shots and will be available for viewing to anyone who would like to meet them 🥰🐾
Due to unforeseen circumstances the vaccine clinic on Sunday, May 19th has been cancelled.
If your pet is due for vaccines at this time we recommend contacting PetVet in Tractor Supply or if your pet is up to date on it’s annual exam with us, please call to schedule an appointment with an assistant.

Oliver has won the award of the cutest kitty of the day🏆😍 He came in with a hurt leg but was definitely feeling better and enjoying love while hanging out with staff❤️
This poor guy had been coughing and sneezing and we couldn’t figure out why until Dr.Powers performed a sedated rhinoscopy and found this massive foxtail barley! This is what foxtails look like before they dry up and become barb-like stickers. The foxtail season has officially began!

Can you guess what this sweet pup is holding half way out of his mouth? That would be the end of some fishing line! The other side ended up in his stomach where Dr. Lane was able to locate the fish hook. Luckily there were no serious injuries and Dr. Lane was able to surgically remove it.
He sure is feeling much better!

Hello! My name is Buttons
These very nice people at MAH took me in when I was injured and homeless. I came in with a degloved jaw meaning the skin covering the bottom of my jaw was detached. Dr. Venezio put me back together using buttons which is how I got my name. While getting fixed up, I was also neutered. Now that I am feeling better, I am now looking for my furrever home 😊
I am approx a 14 week old male shorthair kitty with an amazing personality. I am friendly, playful and absolutely LOVE attention!

What a way to end a crazy day! A box full of the cutest puppies. We sure do love our job ❤️
This is Penny. She was happily chewing on her marrow bone when it got lodged on her lower jaw and wasn’t budging. Penny needed to be sedated to remove it. This is a problem we’ve seen before and sometimes the bones actually need to be cut off with a bone saw. Penny was a lucky girl!
Good news! Annie has found her forever home. She even has a cat sister named Willow. She’s doing great with her new family. Thanks to all of you who helped make it happen with your likes and shares 💛
