Midnight and I’m finally sitting to post an update. WHEW has this all been an incredible, whacky, wild whirlwind. I have seen so much collaboration, teamwork, and compassion in the last 2 weeks between these two storms. People who didn’t get hit in the first one, becoming the people who did get hit in the second, and each party helping the other as we all form a comeback together, and unite to support those who need it most. It really is incredible to witness and be part of.

Today 10 of us hustled to clean up the ranch in the early hours of the day and then loaded up close to 6,000 pounds of horse/livestock feed and hay. We made 4 deliveries… 1 to a local church in Umatilla with boxes of people food and clothes. 3 to local families who lost all or most of their horse and livestock feed to flooding in Milton. Tomorrow, we’ll do it all again and deliver 2 or 3 large loads to areas that have multiple farms in close proximity that lost near or all of their feed and other items.

I share all this just to spread the goodness that is all around, the sheer generosity and determination of people is inspiring. I hope it lights up your day a little 🩷 if you’re reading this, you’re part of it too.

we still have power, we are wet but not flooded, and everyone is doing okay! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

If you look close enough on the horsecam you’ll see Spirit Ziva and Mocha hanging out watching the rain and wind.

HURRICANE HELENE EQUINE SUPPORT, AID & RELIEF
donations are starting to come in and we are getting lots of calls. I'm so grateful for this amazing community, I have seen so much love and compassion in so many ways since losing my mom, and it just continues. I know she has her hands in these efforts to gather as much as we can to support horses and their humans in the panhandle in the wake of this hard hitting hurricane.

We are a drop off location, and partnered with Florida Equine Disaster Response team to get critically needed items to the panhandle.

DROP OFFS FROM 9am-7pm Wednesday - Saturday

quality hay
bags of horse feed (senior is helpful, any will do!)
shavings (pelleted or regular)
