"The Total Package" Quality Hobby Bred AKC MaltesePuppies. I offer puppies 1 to 2 times a year. At 3 day days old they see their vet and to have a puppy check & dewclaws removed. Before going to their new family they have their "Well" baby check and shots from their vet. Puppies come to you with their Pink or Blue Puppy Bag filled with their toys, blankets, and their Grain Free Food at approximately 10 weeks of age. *Our Maltese Dogs Our Maltese dogs are AKC registered. They are our beloved pets and live in our home with Mike (my husband) Mardean (my mother and I. Maltese puppies are raised under our feet with much love and attention. They will learn basic social skills and be started on potty training to pads when you receive them. Our Maltese dogs are selected and bred according to breed standards set forth by the American Kennel Club (AKC). You can find the breed standards listed on the AKC website at www.akc.org . β’ Toy Group; AKC recognized in 1888 β’ Under 7 lbs; 4 to 6 pounds preferred. β’ Companion dog. β’ For all his diminutive size, the Maltese seems to be without fear. His trust and affectionate responsiveness are very appealing. He is among the gentlest mannered of all little dogs, yet he is lively and playful as well as vigorous. The Maltese is listed in the "Toy" category. There is one size and only one size recognized by the AKC for the Maltese (Under 7 pounds; 4 to 6 pounds preferred). There are not three sizes as there are for the Poodle (Standard, Miniature and Toy). There is no recognition of a "Teacup Maltese". We strive to produce beautiful, lovable and healthy companions. The puppies we sell are produced in our home by our 2 females that have been bred by our male. We do not sell to brokers or pet stores as we care about the well-being of our puppies. They deserve a loving home like they grow up in and we want to help them find one. *Health Guarantee We offer a written health guarantee that will be signed by you and by me. We guarantee that your new puppy will be free of communicable disease and healthy when you receive him/her and will be free of life-threatening genetic conditions found during the first year. *As conscientious as we are, sometimes genes can come together wrong. For that reason, we offer the 1 year health guarantee for life-threatening genetic conditions. Most will appear during that first year if they are present. You are required to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving him/her and are responsible for maintaining his/her vaccinations, feeding a healthy diet, and administering proper care and housing for your new puppy. We care about your satisfaction with our puppies. The future health and safety of our puppies is also very important to us! *If you would like to read our contract, please ask and I will e-mail it to you. *Registration Our Maltese puppies are sold as pets with AKC "limited registration"unless other arrangements are made. AKC "limited registration"means that the dog can be registered with the American Kennel Club, but it cannot be shown in conformation class. If bred, the puppies will not be eligible for registration with the AKC due to the "limited registration"status placed on the registration by the breeder. *Vaccinations and Worming The puppies will be age appropriately vaccinated and wormed when you receive them. They will come with a health record showing dates vaccinated and wormed that you can present to your veterinarian. *Vaccination schedules vary between veterinarians. Please follow the recommendations of your veterinarian for vaccinations after receiving your puppy. *Deposits When we have puppies available we will accept deposits to hold your puppy until he/she is old enough to leave home (usually between 9 and 12 weeks of age, but smaller puppies may need to stay longer). The balance will be due when you receive your puppy in person. We can accept credit card payments through PayPal or personal checks {For Deposit Only), (please do NOT mail cash). We cannot guarantee a puppy's availability unless you place a deposit on him/her. *House-Training Your puppy will have a good start on house-training when you receive him/her. They will not be fully trained but will have learned the basics. They will be comfortable with the "piddle pad" and going outside when the weather permits. *We are always here for you After you take your puppy home, we are still available to you as a resource. We are only a phone call or e-mail away and are here to help.
