And just like that, Bear Claw has a new family! Bear Claw, now known as Hadley, will be staying with us for a few extra weeks, but we know he can't wait to go to his new forever home where he will get so much love and attention. Hadley is one of Phannie's puppies. He is 7 weeks and 1 day old. Puppy Love!

Puppy Love to the max! Cream Puff is not only adorable, she is the sweetest little pup, gentle and laid back. She loves people and getting her belly scratched. We expect her to top out at about 25 pounds.

Check out Buddy (formerly Elm from Bella's Tree House Litter). He is with his forever human at his first vet check up. She writes, "Of course, everyone loved him!" Buddy's forever human is a large animal veterinarian and lucky Buddy will be accompanying her on her farm visits. We think these two look just right together - a match made in heaven. ❤️

Happy National Dog Day!! In celebration, here are our six forever dogs, now all retired except for Pumpkin. In order of appearance is Shenanigan (aka "Annie"), Red Wizard (aka "Ozzie"), Anjali (aka "Jali"), Phannie, Peach and please click for the last picture of our newest forever pack member, Pumpkin. Pumpkin is Annie and Ozzie's grandpup and we couldn't love her more. Life is good; living and loving dogs in your life makes it so much better! Meadow's forever human texts me this picture saying, "Don't worry; she has an appointment with the groomer on Thursday." I can't help it! I LOVE the shaggy look. To me, a doodle doesn't look better than this!! Meadow was formerly Harvest Moon from Cassie's Fall Cornucopia Litter. She will be one next month.

Just when we haven't seen Uncle Wicket in a long time, his forever human texts this incredible picture. For those of you who have been following our page for awhile, you will remember Wicket - formerly Wisdom from Peach's New Year Wishes Litter. You often see him with his little forever humans and love the bond they share. Every now and then though, Wicket deserves a picture by himself, and this is certainly one of them. This shot just seems to capture the soul of the dog, who he is and what he loves. Wicket will be four years old at the end of this year.

Remember back in April when Cassie had her NY Rivers Litter? Well, this is Hudson now, and his forever name (wait for it because it's cute) is Nacho! Doesn't this name fit this cutie perfectly? Nacho is living a life full of love and adventure. His forever human reports that he likes car rides, is getting along well with his cat sisters, is a great fetcher and loves walking off leash at a nearby park. I'm so happy for Nacho and for his forever family.

This is a great story. Pictured here are Harvey Wallbanger (now just Harvey) and Daiquiri ( now Ruby) from Ginger's Cocktail Litter. Ruby now lives with her mom, Ginger, in the most wonderful guardian home close to us. Harvey lives with the guardian's best friend's daughter, close to NYC. The daughter is on vacation so Harvey is staying with her mom. Her mom visits her best friend and voila Harvey and Ruby (and Ginger) are reunited! I love this picture because you can see the sibling resemblance. Ginger's Cocktail Litter just turned 7 months old. As you probably guessed, their daddy is Thurman Munson! And . . . their grandmother is Phannie whose last litter is in our puppy room right now and featured yesterday. So much puppy love!

Here are some random shots of Phannie's pups from her Finale Litter, named after pastries. The first picture is Banana Nut Muffin, then Bear Claw. Next row is Muffin again with Cruller, then Cinnamon Bun and finally Cannoli. Pups will be 6 weeks old on Thursday and they are full of love and playfulness. One of our favorite things to do with them right now is to bring them out into the living room and watch them explore and play (and then, of course, sleep!). Puppy Love!!

This is my great nephew. ❤️. He came to visit over the summer and absolutely loved playing with the puppies here. It’s all he wanted to do all week long. I just sent his mom a video of Phannie’s pups playing and this was his reaction after watching it. I guess puppy love runs in the genes! 🐶❤️

What is chocolate, apricot and white with spots all over? Well, it's our new stud muffin, of course! Coquille (now Riley) has come to us all the way from Montana. He weighs in at just 20 pounds. Riley is a rare tri colored phantom which means he expresses both the phantom markings and parti markings. Riley is a gorgeous boy, unique in every way. We are super excited for him to make chocolate, chocolate parti, chocolate phantom and chocolate tri phantoms puppies here at CCL. We expect his first litter in November, and we are overflowing with anticipation. Riley lives with the most fantastic guardian who loves him, pampers him and has trained him so well. We are thrilled to have Riley and his guardian in our breeding program.

This adorable little guy is Frankie, formerly Finch from Arya and Thurman's Songbird Litter. He will be five months old at the end of this month. His forever human sent me these pictures of some of his summer adventures. I'm not sure she realized it, but these pictures really document some fantastic socialization. The first picture shows Frankie's first groom, the second Frankie enjoying a boat ride, the third Frankie riding a subway, the fourth Frankie swimming, the fifth shows Frankie graduating from puppy school, the sixth shows Frankie at his forever human's workplace. The last picture is just a great picture of him. :) These forever parents sure did a great job socializing Frankie!! They write, "He is truly the best puppy ever. Everyone is shocked by how well behaved he is for four months old. And we love him so much - thank you for giving us the best addition to our tiny family!"

Phannie's pups are four and a half weeks old already! Where does time go?!! They are at that absolutely adorable stage where they are still wobbling around playing with each other and with their toys. We just want to sit and watch them all day long! These pups will be about 25 pounds as adults and will be ready for their forever home the first week in September. Thurman Munson is the daddy. Phannie continues to be up for Mama of the Year award. She continues to feed and care for these ELEVEN puppies with incredible love and devotion. In fact today when I gave her a buffalo lung (her absolute favorite treat), she didn't eat it herself. Instead she took it in the pen for the puppies to eat. Of course, the puppies can't have a buffalo lung, so I took it out and had her eat it in the other room, but that was her first instinct - to give it to her pups!!!

Here is Chickadee (now affectionately referred to as "Chickaboom") Her forever human writes, "I love the Chickaboom so much. She is my travel companion. She goes with me everywhere, like a fine Prada purse. Everyone she meets falls in love! She is amazing. She even goes to restaurants with me." I don't think we have to worry about Chickadee being well socialized! We love it when families love their pups and take them so many places. It's fantastic socialization! Chickadee is from Arya's Songbird litter. Her dad is Thurman Munson. She will be 5 months old this month.

Here is little Cheerio from Norah's Breakfast Cereal Litter. His forever name is Teddy, and his forever human writes, "Could not love Teddy more! He is the perfect puppy!" We love seeing him out and about and meeting people safely in the shopping cart! Teddy is a doll!

I love it when CCL pups are so much part of the family that they go on vacation with them! Here is Whisky (from Phannie's "Luck of the Irish" Litter) soaking up the sun and the surf at Lake George. He is such a lucky boy and is so loved by his forever family (I bet you can tell this from the pictures!!) Puppy Love!

Here are Phannie's puppies from her Finale litter (and named after pastries). They are just over three weeks now and have had their first couple of meals of puppy mush. They are starting to crawl around and play with each other. They are just so darn cute . . .and there are ELEVEN of them!!

Some of Bella's puppies forever families have started sending pictures of the pups in their forever homes. We LOVE to see these first pictures of puppies enjoying their new lives. It's a dreary, rainy morning. What else is there to do besides a photo shoot of Phannie's almost 2 week old puppies?!! I could clean my house, but just look at how adorable these little pastries are!! I can truly find any excuse not to dust!! :) Phannie's Finale Litter was born on July 11. They will be about 25-30 pounds as adults and will be ready for their forever homes the first week in September. Scroll through their pictures for their names and genders. There are ELEVEN of them!! Phannie continues to be an amazing mom; all pups are healthy, strong and are making great weight gains. Puppy Love!!

We have a new record here at CCL! Phannie gave birth on Thursday to ELEVEN healthy, beautiful puppies! She is recovering from her 11 hour labor, eating us out of house and home and doing a phenomenal job caring for ELEVEN puppies. Each pup is gaining weight each day. These pups are a gorgeous mix of colors and patterns. We are calling this litter, Phannie Finale Litter (it, sadly, is her last) and have named the puppies after pastries. Meet Strudel Doodle, Cream Puff, Danish, Bear Claw, Banana Nut Muffin, Cannoli, Pecan Twirl, Cinnamon Bun, Eclair, Cruller, and Apple Fritter. Puppy Love X 11 !!!

Norah's first litter recently celebrated their 2nd birthday. How time flies!! Norah's current litter will be going home this weekend. She makes the most adorable puppies. As you may remember, Norah delivered her puppies on the exact same day as Bella did! These sweet pups of Norah's are 6 weeks old. Their father is Thurman Munson (I know you are thinking - man, he sure does get around!!) They are minis and will mature to be right about 25 pounds as adults. This litter is The Breakfast Cereal Litter. We are happy to introduce you to: Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, Captain Crunch and Cheerios (all boys) and Fruity Pebbles and Honey Comb (the girls) Aren't they adorable??!!

Happy July 4th from Kenley! Kenley was formerly known as Cold Snap from Norah's Winter Wonderland litter. She looks just like her mama!! This picture was created by her groomer at Missy's In Home Grooming. Look for Kenley's first set of puppies around Thanksgiving time. Kenley lives with an incredibly loving guardian family. Bella's Tree Fort Litter turned six weeks old today! Just look at these cutie pies. They are standards and will mature to be about 50-55 pounds as adults. They will be ready to go to their forever homes in about two weeks. Meet Oakley, Elm, Ash, Juniper, Aspen, Willow, Chestnut, Cedar, and Sapling. We are in puppy love!!
