On Wednesday Oct.30th we will be installing new internet and phone service. We don't anticipate problems, but in the event of unforeseen problems please continue to attempt calls to 607-563-1345 for the answering service or our voicemail system. We are experiencing an increased need for surgical procedures. This requires us to implement the following changes, effective immediately:

No scheduled appointments on Wednesday

Prescription pickup window CLOSED Wednesday

Life-threatening emergencies (large/small animals) will be seen- CALL IN BEFORE ARRIVING

These changes will allow our staff to focus on surgeries without interruption.

Small animal emergencies will be handled by Delhi Animal Hospital until 4 pm.
Large animal emergencies will be handled by Leatherstocking Vet. Services until 8 am Thursday morning.

Our answering service will help direct you for emergency services.

We've come to the end of our month-long food drive to benefit Chenango SPCA's 'Full Bellies' pet food program. HUGE thanks go out to everyone that donated food, supplies, toys, and cash to our collection efforts. You have proven again how generous and caring pet people are!

We're arranging delivery time with the Chenango SPCA staff, but we'll still accept donations of food, cash and other pet supplies until THURSDAY, MAY 9TH. Just drop off donations at our front desk.

This rambling girl's owners have been located and she is headed home. Thanks to everyone for helping!

Found Dog:
This girl was found wandering on County Rt. 3 in Unadilla near Milfer Farm. She is safe, and wanting to find her home. If this is your dog, please contact Valley Veterinary Associates at 607-563-1345 to arrange her return.

April is ‘Full Bellies’ month at VVA. We are partnering with Chenango SPCA (Norwich, NY) to collect donations for their ‘Full Bellies’ Pet Food Assistance Program. We are accepting donations of dog and cat food (all kinds/canned or dry) for the Full Bellies Pet Food Assistance Program. We can also use donations of collars, leashes, and bowls. We will also accept partial bags of dry food, and cash donations are always appreciated.

Leave donations at VVA during business hours. If you have questions, call 607-563-1345 (menu 4) and ask for Karen. VVA staff will transport all donations to Chenango SPCA.

This post is to clarify our hours of emergency service (changed late last year):

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - emergency services for small animals are available only until midnight

Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 24-hr. emergency services ARE available for small animals.

For large animals, 24hr. emergency services are available all days of the week.
