Hello everyone! Hope spring is really here and everyone is getting out and enjoying the weather. I will be starting a new obedience class on April 27th at 11:00 a.m. . I will be calling everyone on my list this week to verify if you're still interested and if there's anyone new ....please call 607-563-7505. This class will be focused on puppies a year of age and under for basic manners and obedience. Thank you very much!

So I've heard back from several people who would like to take an obedience class but I'm waiting to hear back from several others so I believe that we will try to start a class next Saturday January 27th. Attention everyone! I'm sure you've all heard of the mysterious respiratory complex that's affecting dogs all across the United States. It is now in New York state as well, although several vets have told me it is not in our area. You can find up to date information on this canine respiratory infection through Cornell University and Dr David Needle from the University of New Hampshire as they are doing research on it. So far there are different views on what causes it and they are trying to find methods on how to treat it. It apparently has a wide range of effects on the dogs, from mild to severe . With the upcoming boarding season at Hannalore Kennels for Christmas, we would suggest that prior to your boarding, please minimize your exposure to other dogs who may be at risk. If we become exposed here we will certainly let everyone know as soon as we know. Please know that we always do everything we can do to minimize illness....but it's impossible to keep track of every dog and where it has been prior coming to our facility. Let's all use common sense and keep everybody's pets healthy so we can all enjoy the holiday season! If you have any questions feel free to call us at 563-7505. Thank you.
