I have had several folks lately inquiring about using the arenas. The covered pen is 110x125. Outdoor pen is 160x250. Both have lights. Use of the outdoor pen of course depends on the weather and me having time to get it worked. The attached pic gives details of how to go about booking ride times etc. I am rarely able to catch calls or answer texts immediately. To say I have fallen behind on my social media posts for Windy P Equine would be an understatement 😬, but I wanted to share the story of sweet Drake even though it has been a few weeks since he visited. Drake is a 17 year old Beagle whose mom, Abby O'Neal, and dad absolutely adore ❤️. Miss Abby contacted me about Drake because he had a huge hematoma underneath his belly that ran up into his chest and terrible swelling down into one rear leg. Poor Drake had been shot with an air rifle. Someone had held Drake down by his collar, placed the barrel of the air rifle directly on his right hip and shot him not once, but three times. When Drake’s dad found him, he wasn’t absolutely sure what had happened, only that he had a wound, it was bleeding & Drake was in excruciating pain. Abby, being a nurse, was able to close the wound & stop the bleeding. The next morning it was apparent there was more going on, so away to the vet they went. Much to everyone’s surprise, the X-Rays revealed three pellets lodged in Drake’s body. As a result, Drake developed a huge hematoma and was in alot of pain. I am happy to announce that Drake is making a full recovery and Abby tells me he is back to his sweet self after a few weeks of TLC and recovery. It is sad to know there are people in this world that could be so cruel, but it is also uplifting to know there are people in this world like Abby who love & care for their animals and go above & beyond to make sure they have the best care possible ❤️. Thank you Abby for being one of those good people in this world! We appreciate you letting Windy P Equine have a small part in Drake’s recovery!

***Updated***. Available days for the covered pen are now Saturday & Sunday of this week, Thursday-Sunday(29th, 30th, 31st & 1st) of week after next. The covered pen is worked and watered. 110x125, sand and lights. We are still trying to finish getting the panels put up but aside from that it is good to go. If you need a place to ride and get out of the mud, give me a shout. I have Friday thru Sunday of this week and Tuesday, Friday Saturday & Sunday of next week available. Don’t forget we offer Cold & Hot Saltwater Spa, PEMF machine & Blanket & Cold Laser Therapies!

We were generating some steam one cool Sunday morning before church! Yes, steam……Windy P Equine offers both HOT & Cold therapy in our Saltwater Spa. The HOT Saltwater therapy stimulates blood flow & helps loosen sore and stiff tendons, ligaments & muscles in the legs. In addition it aides in drawing out soreness in the feet due to poor shoeing, thin or bruised soles & heels, abscesses and may other issues. I had an awesome assistant helping me out Thursday morning at the spa ❤️. Little miss Poppy brought her horse Buddy in for some TLC before heading out to Columbia, TN for a National Little Britches Rodeo. Buddy comes in regularly for Cold Saltwater Spa and PEMF therapy. Poppy takes the best possible care of her best friend. ❤️. Older horses like Buddy get so many benefits from this therapy combination, especially when they receive them on a regular basis, helping to manage the aches and pains that these seasoned athletes often deal with.
