We call her a “Gaia-Boo” until we give her a name. I have noticed that she is possibly a he.🤭 This happens on rare occasions with early generation Savannah kittens. We are giving Mom and baby all the time and space they need, but making sure we are monitoring them and their environment to insure they are toasty, cuddling and growing!

Surprise Redecorating gets a Paws Up from Alora
Keeping 6 savannahs enriched and well cared for requires creative management, especially if half of them are intact. Ken bought these perches and stepping shelves for the enrichment of kittens in the house so maybe they wont ALL be “underfoot” at the same time😸

Yep Genesis had a great time running in every corner of our property, after I absentmindedly left the enclosure door open; but carefully staying within our boundries. She eventually came right up to me after playing with me for two hours this afternoon.
I think she may have learned a lesson at the rv park in Panama City, FL back in ‘21 when she was gone for 10 days. That was a total TOTAL challenge getting her back when she was lost in a wildlife preserve on an AFB…
I have gotten darn good at getting savannahs back after they escape unfortunately learning the hard way (I average one every 5 years either here or on my client list of friends and slaves) and using some pretty creative techniques. Of course the best advise is preventative maintenanceI’ll be discussing these when I go live on TikTok this Saturday. June 8 at noon.

Catnip Party!
Our spayed pets are housed with our intact male, so everyone is happy. Now they are REALLY happy, because they finally got to play outside and found great surprises growing all around their enclosure, after the tornado brought us a ton of rain here in Michigan.
