The importance of getting your dog on a schedule:

Due to the increase in the doodles (any dog mixed with a poodle) and double coated dogs that I have been getting lately, I have to make a few adjustments to my pricing. There is a set price based on weight, but if your dog takes more than 2 hours to groom there will be an additional fee added. I do NOT de-mat any dogs. It causes them more pain than just simply shving the coat and starting fresh.

Yes, I do many doodles, double doodles, and double coated dogs. I put a lot of time and effort into each and every dog that I groom. If you have a dog that comes to me twice a year and I spent 4, 5 or 6 hours on your dog, it’s not fair to him/ her. Getting your dog on a regular schedule will not only cut down on time but it will ease some of the stress that comes with grooming. These dogs are our world and they deserve nothing shy of the best. That is what they get when they come to me. Time, dedication, effort, and most importantly love. After all, they’re only with us for so long why not make them top priority.

I offer a wide variety of grooming specialties which include lion cuts for cats, accommodations for elderly dogs, special equipment for extra large breed dogs, one on one appointments for dogs that absolutely cannot be around any other dogs, dogs with aggression/ behavior problems, and so much more! Take a look at this little cutie that was in tonight for her first ever grooming session! She’s a little over 10 weeks old and came in for a nail trim and bath. It’s so important to start puppies at a young age with the grooming process. This sets them up for a lifetime of success! She did so well and was on her best behavior ❤️

Sunday night this boy decided he wanted to make friends with a skunk. His mom quickly called me and I got him right in for a bath using two different products that got pretty much all of the smell out! I’m so happy that we were able to do it right away!

Talk about a transformation for this sweet girl! She was in today for a bath, de-shed, nail trim, sanitary trim, and blow dry! Double coated dogs take a long time to complete but I’m in love with how she turned out! I’ve been grooming her for a little over 3 years now and each time she comes in she gets better and better!

Today we had quite the variety of dogs come in for spa days! First up was a husky that needed a de-shed, then a golden retriever who needed the works, a 9 week old puppy who needed a bath and face trim, and then a bath for our final friend!

This senior pup came in for a full groom tonight! He’s always so well behaved when he comes to the salon. His dad has him on a 7 week schedule and it has helped so much! He received a haircut, bath with shampoo and conditioner, complete blow dry, ear cleaning, nail trim and sanitary trim. He’s looking and feeling his best!

Big or small, I can groom them all! Even barn animals need a special treatment sometimes ❤️ 🐐

I often get asked why I take so long to groom doodles. The answer is because they take a long time to dry and then to do the haircut including using my scissors to perfect every detail takes additional time. There are so many variations doodle haircuts and each one is different from the last. I absolutely love how they look when they’re done!
