Summer is almost here and it’s important to look after our furry friends, exposing them to high temperatures can be very dangerous for them. 🥵

Follow these simple tips.

✅ Always have fresh water
✅ Give them frozen treats or ice cubes
✅ walk them early in the morning or late in the evening
✅ Make sure they have shade
✅ Avoid hot pavement- Check with your hand first
✅ Never leave them inside a parked car

Exciting news from 4 Legs Spa! We are thrilled to announce our new essential hygiene services designed to ensure your furry friend stays healthy and happy. 💙🐶🐱

🫧 Brushing : Depending on your dog’s coat, you will ned to use a specific type of brush. For example a sliker brush is good for dogs with long hair, while a bristle brush is better for dogs with short hair. Brushing helps to remove loose hair and dirt, and can also prevent matting.

🫧 Bathing: Dogs should bathe every 4-6 weeks or as needed. Use a dog-specific shampoo preferably vegan and free of perfumes, paraben, and warm water, rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

🫧 Nail Trimming: Dog´s nails should be trimmed every 3 - 4 weeks or as needed.
🫧 Ear Cleaning: Dog´s ears should be cleaned regularly to prevent infecctions. Use a cotton ball or pad and a dog specific ear cleaner.

🫧 Teeth Cleaning: Dog´s teeth should be brushed regularly to prevent infecctions, using dog - specific toothbrush and toothpaste.

🫧 Fur trimming: In addition to regular grooming sessions, some dogs may require additional fur trimming in between appointments. This can include trimming the hair around the eyes to improve visibility and prevent irritation and trimming the hair on the paws to keep them clean and prevent matting.

FLEA & TICK SEASON ‼️ When the weather warms up, we want to spent more time outdoors with our pets to exercise, explore and bonding, but that comes with a built-in increase in exposure to harmful parasites. Most notably, fleas and ticks.

We recommend to add Andiroba repellent treatment when bathing your dog at its a natural oil that free of parabens and silicones.
