Don’t let your child miss all the fun during our September saddle club meetings! New session and signup is now available starting Saturdays in September! Dates are 9/6, 9/20, 9/27, and 10/2 from 11:30am to 12:30pm in Union, KY.

This is an immersive experience that will allow your horse lover to experience life on a horse farm! They will experience a little of everything from caring for these amazing animals to some time in the saddle each week.

To learn more and see some pictures and videos from previous sessions/meetings, and to be kept in the loop about upcoming dates (also including homeschool groups and even an adult only group), please add yourself to our private group:
https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1F92PjmP9F/?mibextid=wwXIfr

The cost is $200 for the 4 week session with a $100 deposit due at signup to hold your child’s spot. Spots are always very limited as I like to move at each individual’s pace, I split kids into age appropriate/experience level groups with my assistants, and provide 1:1 instruction while they are in the saddle.

Kids interested in horses? How about some “end-of-summer” fun for your kiddos to wrap up their summer vacation? Maybe a little break for you to enjoy some “kid free time” as well? Our immersive horse club sessions are for you!

✨✨Due to some unexpected last minute cancellations, I have 2 open spots available! Our first session was today, July 19th and we had a ton of fun! We would love if your child could join us next weekend!!✨✨

During our sessions, children come to the farm (located in Union) and learn all about horses! We get to groom, learn to tack, learn care, learn nutrition, learn horse first aid, play games, maybe do some crafts, and have a short riding or horse handling experience each week. This is a great way for parents to see if their children are interested in riding and whether they want to make the investment of committing to it as a sport. Each weekly meeting is 2 hours, supervised by me with multiple assistants.

The cost is $50 per weekly meeting ($150 total for the remaining 3 Saturdays). Payment is due upon registration at this time. Meetings are 10:30am-12:30pm.

If your child is interested in joining our upcoming session, you may text or call (859) 466-5383 or message me here. I’m happy to answer any questions!

I also have a group dedicated to our club sessions where you can stay updated and be the first to know about signups! The sign up link will be posted there as well. I also try to provide summaries of what we did, pictures, and videos for parents who choose to drop their child off and enjoy some “kid free” time.

👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻 👆🏻 👆🏻 👆🏻 👆🏻 👆🏻

Keep in mind, these groups are small to allow me to work with each child individually and understand their unique learning style and needs. SO SPACE IS LIMITED. Only 6 spots per session! I also have multiple assistants who will supervise and work with the kids doing various activities while I am working with each child individually in the saddle. We stay really busy and have tons of fun!

I have over 35 years of experience with horses and have been teaching over a decade! I also have an educational/professional background in psychology and recreation therapy as well as extensive experience working with children (and adults of all ages) in a variety of group settings.

Age range at this time will be 5-14.

While we will have time in the saddle each week, this is not intended to be a formal riding lesson, but a way to get children exposed and learning about horses, getting some fresh air, and making some friends! But…. It can also double as some kid-free time for parents to run an errand. 😉 As a parent myself I know the end of summer can feel a little monotonous for both adults and kids! So let’s end it right and get your kids outside, moving, learning, and having fun while you get a “breather”!e

Raise Her in the Barn

Put your daughter in the barn, where the air smells of hay and hard work, where the lessons are unspoken but will be deeply understood.

Let her find her footing in the dust and dirt,
learning that balance isn’t just for the saddle but for life itself.

Watch as she earns trust from something bigger than herself, as she discovers that patience isn’t passive...it’s the quiet persistence of trying again and again.

Let her feel the weight of responsibility
with every flake of hay she tosses, every bucket she fills, every wound she tends with her tiny gentle hands.

Put your daughter in the barn, where she’ll learn that effort matters more than luck, that showing up every day builds more than muscle...it builds character.

Let her see that respect is earned, not demanded, that failure isn’t final, and that sometimes the best lessons come from falling off and getting back on.

Give her a place where she can be strong and soft, bold and kind, independent yet deeply connected.

Let the barn shape her, and when the world calls her forward, you’ll see a woman who knows who she is, because she was raised in the barn.

Kids interested in horses? I just got our first a “saddle club” off the ground and am in the process of now adding more sessions and signups as we head into spring and summer!

During our sessions, children come to the farm (located in Union) and learn about horses! We get to groom, learn to tack, learn care, learn nutrition, learn horse first aid, play games, maybe do some crafts, and have a short riding or horse handling experience each week. This is a great way for parents to see if their children are interested in riding and whether they want to make the investment of committing to it as a sport. Each weekly meeting is 2 hours, supervised by me.

The cost is $50 per week, and sessions run 4-8 weeks. We have a session that just started and myself and the kids are really enjoying our time together! So, I am preparing to add some more sessions to the schedule! If you or your child is interested in joining a session, I made a group dedicated to this where you can stay updated and be the first to know about signups! Sign ups will be posted there.

Keep in mind, these groups are small to allow me to work with each person and understand their unique learning style and needs. SO SPACE IS LIMITED.

Age range at this time will be 6-15 but that’s not a hard limit. Children need to be able to follow rules and instructions as well as control their behavior in a safe way in order to join. I am planning to add more groupings and sessions in March—as well as an adult only group and even a “mommy/daddy and me” group! I would love to be inclusive as much as I can in what I offer as time goes on.

While we will have time in the saddle each week, this is not intended to be a formal riding lesson, but a way to get people/kids exposed and learning about horses, getting some fresh air, and making some friends! But…. It can also double as some kid-free time for parents to get an errand done!

🐴❄️Great opportunity for some fun and learning with HORSES to brighten your winter!!❄️🐴

For those who would like to get more information on our “saddle club” we are offering starting January 18th, I’ve created a group for you to join! I will be posting all information in there on current and future sessions along with sign ups and plan to use it as a way to give weekly recaps and share pictures of what our club members are doing and learning! Feel free to join even if you need to wait for summer offerings and beyond! My goal is to be inclusive to a variety of age groups including adults and very young children as time goes on.

Last, I do have the current signup sheet posted in the group but and will link it below too. The first group will be starting January 18th and I am offering very limited spots at this time (only 4 spots). This is for children ages 10ish-15ish but that’s not a hard limit. Definitely reach out if you have a kiddo interested! Each weekly Saturday session will be from 11am-1pm. Children will learn all about horses as well as how to groom them, learn about our tack and equipment, how to lead a horse, how to care for them outside of riding, horse first aid, horse anatomy, and much more! Each child will also get some short time in the saddle each week adjusted to their learning speed and individual needs. We will also play games and likely do some crafts—plus burn some energy and make new friends!

The sessions are $50 a week with a 50% deposit due at sign up to hold your child’s spot and the remaining due January 17th. The sessions build off each other so it’s important your child is able to commit to the entire session.

Anyone have kids with interest in horses? Or are you, an adult, interested in horses?

I am working on getting a “saddle club” off the ground. Children would come to the barn (located in Union) and learn about horses. They would get to groom, learn to tack, learn care, learn nutrition, learn horse first aid, play games, maybe do some crafts, and have a short riding experience each week. I’m thinking this would be a great way for parents to see if their children are interested in riding and whether they want to make the investment of committing to it as a sport. Each weekly meeting would be 2 hours, supervised by me.

The cost would be $50 per week, in 4-8 week sessions. I am planning to start with one small group of 4 on Saturdays starting January 18th-February 22nd. Age range at this time will be 8-15 but that’s not a hard limit.

If this is of interest to you, please reach out! I do have sign ups up and I have created a group specifically for information and those interested in joining a club session. Follow this link posted to join:

In the group you will find access to sign up forms and you’ll be the first to know when new groups/sessions are offered! The first session is extremely small and there are only 2 spots left.
