“My dog sleeps in bed with me every night.”

We hear this multiple times a week as trainers, nervously admitted by dog parents who are trying their best to do right with their dog. They wait to hear our judgey responses, braced- expecting the reels of trainers ranting or videos lecturing them on the dangers of such behavior.

At SDS, we believe that if you like a behavior (and it’s not causing problems) who are we to stop it?

If they’re not guarding the bed, having accidents on the floor at night or chewing things up… enjoy your heated blanket! 🥰

Dogs Gone Wild!

We took our advanced class out on the town and had the opportunity to introduce them to 'wildlife' they'd never encountered before! Look at these pups doing a great job!

Confidence Course!

This looks so silly but it's a great way to build confidence in your pup. Funny textures, bubble wrap, crinkly food bags, ladders, obstacles, tunnels, and so much more! Let your pup investigate each section, use lots of upbeat positivity and praise. Start easy, work up in difficulty and your pup will be a master at this in no time.
