Whos ready for a clinic!?!?!?

ROPING FUNDAMENTALS

Bobby (our amazing MoRHA cattle help) will be at our place in Washington (MO) April 19th. This will be primarily for beginners to intermediates. Lunch will be provided. He will go over rope handling, how to build a loop, position on the dummy, throwing properly & follow thru. Afternoon sessions will be mounted but we will provide horses for practicing on the roping dummy. You will need to bring your own rope but we will have some different types to try.

April 19th 9am - 4pm
$60 a person
$25 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot

Just a quick check in

All is well and we just barley missed the tornados path. Josey, Shane & Krista held down the fort while I was in Texas. Thanks for everyone checking in on us.

All good at the house (mom held that fort down) too just still with out power from around 8 last night

Only lost a little roof on one of kristas barns but all horses, animals and people are safe!!!

Prayers for everyone that had more damage

We had our first Missouri Ranch Horse show last weekend at National Equestrian Center

Quin & Spotted Hot Silver were Reserve Jr Hi Point for owner Tina Knoll. Tina also showed in the Novice Walk/trot for her first time showing her horse, top 5.

Courtney & Spirit And Grace were Novice Youth Hi Points

Rosealie & HS Jack Eyed Ken were Walk/Trot Hi Points

Harvaleigh has her first full time show with Sophisticateddiamond and had some exceptional rides w top 3 placings

Cooper got to show HS Docs Lil Barbie in conformation & the little Buckaroo walk/whoa.

Meredith & Jack showed in a few classes to get some good practice in for going to down the fence!!

Maddie & Boone had their second show in our program and stepped up in every way. Showing one handed in a few classes!!

Nina & Baby has some great practice and even tried showmanship for the first time.

Jason (Courtney's dad) dominated those Open Sr & Novice Amateur cattle classes.

To many placings to write down between everyone!!!

We welcomed 2 new additions to the barn this week!!! Best weather around to have foals born in this week but here we are 😁

Mistie is a filly by SJR Diamond Mist and our of Sophisticateddiamond. She suredoes look like her daddy but has mousey legs so grey is more the likely.

"Name Pending" as she was born this morning, is a filly by Cowpuncher Cadillac & out of HS Docs Lil Barbie. We are thinking red dun but she sure is a light red.
Help us name the new one & send us suggestions.

This gelding just gets better every show!! We are beyond proud of his growth in our program. Thank you Tina for having faith in this program and allowing him to continue with us. He was just a 3yr old last with this major accomplishment.
He has been shown in ARHA in the Missouri Ranch Horse Association also last year with some great year end placings. ARHA has such great classes for young horses and I know he wouldn't be as advanced as he is with out that possibility.

Day two of our 2024 year end standings

Sophisticateddiamond is an absolute QUEEN!! This was the last year her & Quin were showing together and she never disappointed!!!

AQHA VRH Open & Sr 3rd place in the nation, winner of the FIRST ever Kansas Quarter Horse Tradition Ranch Horse Stakes, undefeated 2yrs in a row at the VRH Worlds in Ranch Trail & AQHA Ranch Trail Reserve National Honor Roll winner.

This mare has surpassed every expectation and we cannot wait to see her excell with her owner Harva Leigh in 2025. Also be on the lookout for her offspring in the show pen this year.

We have had such an amazing 2024 show year. Let's show off some accomplishments from all the hard work everyone has put in!!!

Zippos Dry Sug & Mindy were on fire this year and had big goals that they absolutely crushed!!

2024 AQHA Limited Amateur VRH national HI Point!!!!! We can never say enough good things about this team, and boy they fun to watch! They were also 9th overall in the AQHA Level 1 Boxing!!!

Congratulations Mindy & Hawkeye on such an amazing title....ohhhhh but wait.... they also achieved their SUPERIOR Amateur VRH All Around Title from AQHA!!!

*Two Shifts Available*
AM Includes feeding (grain, hay & watering), cleaning 15-18 stalls (total time of 4-5hrs)
PM Includes feeding (same as above) & cleaning 4-7 stalls (total time of 2hrs)
Competitive pay, no drama atmosphere, cute horses (even a few babies) & cuddly barn friends. Both positions could be developed into more (grooming, saddling, warmup/cooling)

Garcia Performance Horses rounded out 2024 with a great show at the Tulsa Holiday Circuit!

Our favorite 3 year old Spotted Hot Silver is gaining so much consistency. Highlights this this weekend were roping like a pro and scoring his first 77.5 in ranch trail with Quin!

Quin and Sophisticateddiamond had an awesome show. Sophia was circuit champion 🏆 in AQHA Ranch Trail, VRH Ranch Trail, and VRH Conformation. We are always so proud of this beautiful and talented gray mare.

Rounding out the show group this weekend were Mindy and Hawkeye. Zippos Dry Sug wrapped up his 2024 season with poise. Gaining circuit awards in VRH Reining and VRH Ranch Trail. And UNOFFICIALLY THE VRH LIMITED AMATEUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONS 🥇

This year I give thanks to everyone who has supported me throughout the years, hardships & changing circumstances. I'm extremely thankful to be announcing that Dec 1st I will be operating out of a great facility in Washington MO. This facility is where I started riding at 6yrs old so its full circle to a place that started my passion. We will only be taking horses in training or wanting to show with us.

What a great first day at the Fort Worth Stock Show, Sophia was a rock star in trail. Marking a 79.5 and winning the VRH Open Trail outta 22 entries!!!! Congratulations to Kelsey Ward & Lil Ruff N Spooky coming in 2nd in trail. The Missouri Girls are here in Texas!! Mindy/Hawkeye & Harva Leigh/ Sophia got there first class gitters out of the way in trail with some minor bobbles Mindy & Hawkeye were 5th in the Limited Ama Ranch Cutting winning some money back!!!!
