These sweet babies are now two and a half weeks old! We are starting to see their little personalities come out, and they are crawling all over the place! Pick your favorite, and I’d love to have some suggestions for names! We are going to name them after things that are sweet, like Honey herself! And I’m beginning to put together their adoption plan

Meet Hamstey! We are boarding his brother Milo (a dog) and when mom asked if we would board a hamster, we happily agreed! Hamstey has had a great week of burrowing in his cage, eating everything you give him, and wheeling through my office in his ball! He’s been a complete joy, in addition to all our boarding dogs. In case any of you wonder - we will board anything except birds (they stress out with barking). Cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, chinchillas, lizards, snakes, tortoises - whatever you’ve got!

Honey’s first puppy to have its eyes open! My niece came to see the puppies with her friend, and they were thrilled to find this dear sweet dog, who they named Diamond. It’s amazing to see the transformation in just under two weeks! Can’t wait until they all can see!

Hard to believe we went from super huge, to all these puppies! I can’t even believe she had room for that! When Honey came to us, she was only 40 pounds, but when she gave birth she was close to 80 pounds! I am so impressed with this beautiful momma!

Honey and her puppies had a great visit with my friend’s granddaughters! They came in and very gently held a puppy or two. Thankfully Honey is so good allow is to pick up the puppies. Sometimes she will see someone holding her puppy and go gently retrieve it. These puppies are so loved!

Honey’s pup drop happened yesterday! It was so amazing!!! She started having the puppies at 4 yesterday, and it took until about 10pm for all of them to get here! All the puppies were born alive and we didn’t lose any. And Honey was the sweetest girl, cleaning them all up, letting us pick them up, it appears to be 7girls and 4 boys! This has been quite the rescue adventure and the next two months of raising them right should be wild! Come see puppies, cuddle puppies, and pick your favorite!

Two months ago, Honey came to the shop as a dog who had been dumped in Green. She has been living here, and I’ve been looking for a forever home for this sweet girl. A few weeks ago, we noticed that Honey was getting “fat,” but then also realized she was pregnant! My amazing staff have bonded with her, loved her, and have given her so much support as she is getting ready to pop any day now! It is expected she will have 10 puppies! So she is going to be with us two more months at least as we plan for her giving birth! I will let you know if we need any puppy cuddlers, as ten puppies will sure be a handful! I may also set up a go fund me for her care, as her vet bills have been huge! Join me in “Countdown to Honey’s Pup Drop…”

People wouldn’t think that bathing two dogs that weigh less than 3 pounds each would be any struggle at all. These girls put me through the ringer! They never stop moving!!!
