Hello, this is Green Family Pets.

This past weekend, the owner, Amy Hollingsworth, was involved in an instance in her personal life that left her in critical condition in the hospital. As of now, we are unsure of when she will be discharged, let alone ready to return to attending to the business she has grown to care so deeply about.

As many know, we were scheduled to move facilities this week. The timing of this has been nothing short of unfortunate. We’d like to express our sincerest apologies, but as of now, Green Family Pets will be transitioning into a hopefully short period of closure. We would like to utilize this time to focus on making sure Amy heals properly and making sure our new facility is 100% ready for all of you.

For now, any grooming appointments and boarding reservations until the end of November will have to be cancelled. We are unsure if we will be up and running by that time, but we wanted to provide as much information as we could. If need be, we may have to extend that date.

Again, we express our sincerest apologies to all of our deeply valued customers. Amy, as well as all the employees at our shop, appreciate every one of you and your pets. We hope to see you all as soon as possible, but for now please accept our deepest apologies.

Those looking for boarding in Green, please feel free to reach out to us for recommendations. We will try to respond as swiftly as possible. Many of our employees do at-home pet sitting and we can provide other recommendations in the near area.

Cats. Cats are always a gamble! This cat was on some calming medicine, and he was so calm it made me nervous! At what point does he freak out? And on Mr. Buddy here, there was nothing but absolute adoration and purrs. Now, on to the next cat!

Today’s journey begins!!! Matthew brought Honey and Muffin to our house, as we make our journey to their new home in Tallmadge. Honey has always been the the center of all of this escapade, be it that she’s the momma who started it all! Who ever would have thought that April 24th would change so many lives? Not just mine, but my family, my friends, the owners of all the pets I see at Green Family Pets, and the community! Having everyone rally around the world’s favorite rescue pitbull is beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you so much to everyone who has made this the best possible rescue endeavor! 🥰🙏🎉

In addition to dogs, we also board cats! We have a whole separate area so your cat can just chill, watch over the shop, and be safe from any possible escape missions! Jackson is an absolute angel!

We love these guys! This is who did a board and train for my big dogs Sophie and Bailey! They go away for two weeks and come back a new dog! Joe and Jamie are absolutely amazing and they send you so many pictures and help to train you how to keep working with your own dog when you get them back! Absolutely recommend them!

Sensitive topic lol but… does your dog have an itchy bu****le? Scooting around on the carpet? Licking all the time? Smells fishy or just downright nasty? This is what I use on all dogs who have a**l gland issues. It’s medicated, fast acting, reduces inflammation, and it can’t hurt them. You can spray a few times a day if they are really scooting, as daily maintenance or just when you notice the problem. Or, you can bring them to me and I can do the butt stuff (try as hard as you can not to laugh!!!). Hope you have a great weekend!

While I was in the hospital, I did a little retail therapy and bought the puppies some toys! They LOVED THEM! I feel like they need to be enriched so they learn healthy play. I’m working on getting them homes today and tomorrow! Let me know if you are interested!
