There is just something about giving any of my critters bananas that just hits them differently. Even these crickets. Sometimes or should i say many times doing my rounds takes longer than it should because i love watching everyone enjoy their meal.
I'll spend hours on end just watching everyone.
I might have a slight problem but i wouldn't change anything about it!
When i pack them up i even say sorry you are about to be eaten.
Now i got about 20k eggs incubating. If it's successful my household is about to have a whole lot of chaos.
The birds love the extra chaos. Sometimes i cant tell if its a bird chirping or the crickets chirping oh boy...

This little one is adventurous came straight up when i put the banana in. First time trying it too! Took less than half a minute.

They make me so happy. Can't wait till their population is atleast 100k. Can never have to many of these guys!

My red runners really give me a run!
Due to technical difficulties a few months back most of my colony seemingly vanished into thin air. It was to the point I thought about halting the project.
Only a few remained. Tended to their needs and started seeing nymphs. 2 adult males and one female. Of course a terrible ratio. Yet I rolled with it. Well one day I see a random red runner casually prancing around the room like he owned the whole house. I thought I acted fast to grab him but i did not. He ran circles around me taunting my every move. He won the battle and somehow became known as Mr. Nonchalant.
Mr. Nonchalant might still be lurking around casually somewhere in my home.
Whelp so for a while I just had one male one female and a number of nymphs... Well until a few days ago...
I go to check on them and well all i see is the one female and the nymphs. Oh and a perfectly preserved exoskeleton of a male adult roach!? Uhm buddy you are an adult and should not be shedding!? So unless I am missing something I am just left utterly confused with these guys 😂 none the less I will continue the project of the red runners and see where it takes me next.
I absolutely love what I do and I can't wait to share the joy with the rest of the world!

Thanks to my husband who asked me last night if I ever heard of the blue Sapphire flower roach and giant flower roach I have more added to my 1000000 plus dream list. I think I might have an addiction. (Not my photo it was taken from google search) I'm so in love though.
Roaches get a bad reputation but really most of them are innocent. It's really more of the german roaches and American roaches etc that other species don't get the appreciation they deserve.

I really can't wait till all the species I'm working with will be available for the public to enjoy as well!
Getting the perfect quantity of each sizes of each species definitely takes time!
I just love seeing my name listed for the first time!

I hope I didn't stress them out to much in the transfer but wow some of them were clinging on to their old tank like crazy. Definitely strong little creatures!
Observing these little guys behaviors is seriously fascinating! Still want to spice this enclosure up a bit more. So not completely set up yet.

Out of all the roach species I am working with the madagascar hissing roaches are probably my favorite! Well i also love my horseshoe crabs well no I just love them all even the red runners they kind of grew on me over time...
I really can't wait till I have enough of these guys to spread the joy! I have a list of other hissers that I would love to start one day. Oh speaking of can you guess the outlier hisser!? Just in time for Halloween I got a Halloween hisser lurking playing tricks. A happy surprise bonus! And look at the fabulous pristine shed!

I love my horseshoe crab roaches. I just never get to see them. Today i disturbed the soil to get a glimpse as I haven't seen them in ages. Suffice to say they are doing well. Sorry buds for disturbing you briefly. I just couldn't help myself.
