It took two people to replace Mechelia when she was gone on Friday! She does so much and I'm truly lucky to have such great help.

We have been open for one year! I would like to thank everyone who has chosen us for their Veterinary care. We look forward to serving you and your pets for many years to come! I have enjoyed getting to know all of you! We plan to have an open house this spring to say thank you!

🐶Say hello to Lily! This is my 13 year old chocolate lab. She is starting to have a hard time getting around and has slowed down. I started her on a joint supplement called Dasuquin to help preserve her mobility. It looks and tastes like a treat.

Holiday Hours:

We will be open until noon on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas day. We will also be closed on the 26th as normal.

We had so much fun making this float for the Unionville Winterfest parade! Shout out to Mechelia Maddaleno for hand drawing all the Peanuts characters and coming up with the whole idea! Thankful to all the people who orchestrated this event as well!

Cool case post! Carnelo's owner called me a couple weeks ago saying her dog had a stick in his eye. She mentioned he likes to chase squirrels and thought he got a stick in his eye while doing so. Remarkably, Carnelo's eye was not damaged other than a couple superficial ulcers. See pictures in the comments for how he came in to see me with the stick in his eye. Note he is sedated in the pictures. Thanks to Carnelo's owner calling as soon as she saw this, we were able to save Carnelo's eye and he is doing wonderfully at home!

Look at Skunk's toes! He has nail caps on. This is an alternative to declawing. We offer this here and have several fun colors. These typically last a month or so. Some cats even let this happen while awake with lots of treats! We can also sedate if needed or apply them after surgery while they are still asleep.

I took this picture of my favorite personal cat Bitty the other night. Bitty was a rescue. She was an orphan and a bottle baby that my husband picked up. She's so sweet and loves my kids. She has always had a different purr. My husband says, "She has a squeaky bearing in her purr box." Share your favorite cat in the comments!
