Hi, I’m Clarissa. I am a veteran educator, turned homeschool parent who is passionate about using “real work” to encourage real academic gains. This project has spurred work in math, science, ELA, and entrepreneurship.

Our pets have been a big part of homeschool education and caring for pets has given Liam a strong work ethic. He LOVES animals! We now have 6 pets in our home. Liam is the sole provider for his chinchilla and 2 gerbils.

In May of 2021, we pitched his pet sitting business to neighbors with much success. Since then we have taken work often and love our clients. Now Liam is ready to take the business to the next level.

In anticipation of the 2021 holiday season, I have added Small Critters Pet Sitters to my LLC and he has added me as his business partner. Liam plans to save his income for the School of Rock summer camp and I will use my shares to fund our learning adventures.
