The beautiful babies are here! 💕🐶

It’s been a wild night and day — being a breeder is definitely not for the faint of heart 😅. Last night, Queenie started showing early labor signs (panting, nesting, etc.), so I stayed up with her all night checking her temp every few hours. By morning, she went into active labor around 10, but after a while with no puppies, I knew something wasn’t right.

I called around to every vet I could, and thankfully High Plains Vet Clinic picked up — the sweetest vet told me to bring her in just in case 🙏. Once we got there, Queenie ended up needing an emergency c-section (poor girl 💕). I stayed right beside her the whole time, making sure she was comfortable and okay.

We welcomed four healthy, gorgeous Frenchie puppies into the world! 🍼🐾 Two piebald Merles (1 girl & 1 boy) and two blue and tans (1 girl & 1 boy)! The piebald Merles might even develop blue eyes later on — and let me tell you, it’s making it really hard not to keep one! 😍

These babies are absolute perfection — strong, healthy, and so loved already 💖

Our dogs will soon have a cozy new space with in-floor heat, a grooming area, and a puppy play zone—huge thanks to our amazing contractors for making this dream of ours become a reality! 🙌

And the best news… Queenie was bred in early August, so we’ll know soon if puppies are on the way! 💕🐶

We’re so happy to share that Gilbert Eugene is thriving in his new home! His family says he’s incredibly well-mannered and is already best buds with his new BFF, Nellie 🐕💕.

Last night, Gilbert even made another unexpected friend… a toad! 🐸😄 He was very curious but kept it polite, of course—he’s a true gentleman!

Thank you so much to Nikki and family for giving Gilbert the best home! We love seeing this sweet boy settling in so well. 💫
