It’s been a while since I’ve been on here! To be honest, life has been a bit crazy this summer and FB had to take a backseat for a bit🤷🏼‍♀️☺️

Don’t worry, we’ve still been busy growing lots of beauties this summer and we can’t wait to share them with you all!🥰🌻

We will have the flower cart stocked up with beautiful wrapped bouquets Friday morning(8/2) at 8 AM🙌🏽

Although I never had the chance to meet Joseph, his impact on our community and salon has been profound. His kindness and generosity were felt by everyone who knew him, and his dedication to the well-being of pets was truly inspiring.

Joseph's influence extended far and wide, training groomers, including one of my closest friends. The stories she shared over the years painted a picture of a man who was not only skilled but also deeply compassionate. This past week, I've had the honor of speaking with many of Joseph's clients. Their heartbreak is evident, but so is their gratitude for the love and care he showed their beloved pets. Some families have been with him through multiple pets and life's ups and downs, reflecting the deep bond they shared with him.

While we can never replace Joseph, we are committed to honoring his memory by continuing to love and care for his clients' pets with the same dedication. We promise to ease their worries and uphold the high standards he set.

Thank you, Joseph, for your unwavering dedication to our industry and for the love you showed to so many pets in our community. Your legacy will live on in our hearts and through our work. ✂️ ❤️🐾

We have some new faces on our page and we thought it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves!
We are Carrie and Jeremy Ralston, the owners of Perfect Paws Pet Resort located at 14285 Perfect Rd. Sunbury.
We have 3 kiddos and a mini goldendoodle 🐾 and have been Sunbury residents for 8 years!
We have always loved animals and it’s been a dream of ours for a couple of years now to own and run a dog boarding facility! Now that our children are in school all day, we decided now is the time! Jeremy and I have been in business for ourselves for over 15 years and we are looking forward to this opportunity!
We are so happy to have our building delivered (it’s being built off site) and open our doors on Sept. 1! Our facility is located on our homestead where we will be able to monitor what goes on! We will also have 24/7 livestream footage of the dogs inside and outside.
We look forward to serving our community and we can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐶

The parade was a blast, with so many smiling faces and wagging tails. 🐕 The bubbles were a major hit, and our pups loved their refreshing ice baths! ! 🫧🧊

✨New Services✨

After some events this past week, I am happy to announce that I am now offering services to act as your Patient-Client Advocate! 🐾

There is nothing worse than when your pet is experiencing a medical emergency and you don't understand all of the "medical talk" or maybe you are just too upset and overwhelmed to understand everything that is happening. That is where I come in. As an experienced RVT, I understand these terms and conditions and can help you better understand what is going on with your pet and what options are available to you.

The overall goal of a patient advocate is to provide pet caregivers with the support and education they need so they can make their own decisions about their next steps. Advocates have the patient's back (like a “wingman”) and help make their journey through the veterinary health care system as smooth as possible.

I was able to offer this exact care for a current client last week when she called because her cat was going to the litterbox, but not urinating. We decided it best for her to seek emergency care, but during that care her cat went into cardiac arrest. Those 2 words would stop anyone in their tracks. What does this mean for his prognosis? Is he going to recover? What side effects will there be? We were able to sit down and discuss all of these questions and more, help her process the information coming from the veterinarians, and make informed decisions regarding her pet's care.

Thank you so much for your generosity and quick response to our request for shelter needs and help! In collaboration with the Delaware County Dog Warden, an additional 5 dogs were transferred from the Kilbourne Road humane case to HSDC care, bringing the total in our care to 18 dogs. Below is an update of what we still need at the shelter. Financial donations continue to be our primary need as 18 dogs cost $24 a day or $13,392 per month. Additionally, we are still in need of stainless steel flat-sided pails, canned wet food for adults and puppies, and spray cheese.
