We are thrilled to announce that Cory, our sweet 9-year-old, 4 lb warrior, has found her forever home with Mary Senica, a long-time supporter of Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue!

Mary recently experienced the loss of her beloved furry companion and, after some time to heal, has decided to open her heart once again. She felt an instant connection with Cory, and we know these two are going to bring so much love and joy to each other’s lives. ❤️

Cory has had quite a journey—recovering from infected skin, a large cancerous tumor, severe dental issues, and chronic dry eye. Thanks to your support, we were able to provide her with life-saving medical care, including a major dental procedure and ongoing treatment for her eyes. Now, she gets to enjoy the life she’s always deserved in a home filled with love and kindness.

🐾 Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue Update: Colby & Jabbo Need Your Help! 🐾

We want to update you on two of our precious pups, Colby and Jabbo, who are facing health challenges and need your support.

💙 Colby: This sweet blind girl has been such a trooper, but she appears to be struggling with a painful kidney stone. On Monday, she’ll undergo sedation, X-rays, and other necessary procedures to confirm her condition and get her on the path to feeling better.

💙 Jabbo: Our little gentleman has been experiencing some issues with his nasal cavity. He’ll also be heading to the vet on Monday for X-rays to pinpoint the cause and determine the best course of action to help him breathe easier and feel better.

These procedures and diagnostics are critical for Colby and Jabbo’s health, but as you can imagine, they come with significant costs. That’s where YOU come in! ❤️

Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue is reaching out to our incredible community for support. Two of our precious rescues, Colby and Jabbo, urgently need veterinary care this afternoon.

🐾 Colby, our sweet blind girl, is heading to the vet due to blood in her urine. She's been so brave through her journey, but this new issue needs immediate attention to ensure she’s comfortable and on the road to recovery.

🐾 Jabbo, the little chihuahua with a heart of gold, is struggling with a severe infection. He’s coughing and finding it difficult to eat, which is heartbreaking for our team to see. We’re committed to getting him the treatment he needs to feel better.

🎄✨ A Christmas Message from Her Royal Highness Madge ✨🐾

"Hello, darlings! It’s me, Madge, coming to you from my palace—aka my forever home with my amazing mom Lauren and my wonderful fur siblings! 👑🐶

I just wanted to take a moment this Christmas to let you all know how much my life has changed. From being a one-eyed, three-legged girl who struggled to get around, I’m now living like royalty! Lauren spoils me with love, snuggles, and all the care I could ever ask for. My fur siblings? They treat me like the queen I am (most of the time 😉).

I’ve got my cozy bed, yummy food, and even a few extra treats now and then. Oh, and guess what? I’ve even learned to love going on my walks (well… like might be a better word, but progress is progress)!

Thank you to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue and all of YOU who believed in me, cared for me, and helped me find my happily ever after. This Christmas, I’m wishing for all my rescue friends to find homes as perfect as mine. Please keep supporting the incredible work this rescue does—it changes lives, just like it did for me.

🎄🐾 For the 12th Dogs of Christmas, Rainbow Bridge gave to me… Bingo, the tiniest troublemaker with the biggest personality! 💖

Meet Bingo, the runt of the litter who’s small but mighty. At 2 lbs, one full pound smaller than her big brother Socks, she doesn’t let her size hold her back. In fact, she’s always the first to figure things out—whether it’s crawling out of the pool or mastering the doggie door (she’s a little too clever for her own good!). 🐶✨

Bingo loves showing her siblings who’s boss, often seen playfully pushing them around and taking charge. Her mischievous spirit keeps everyone on their toes, and her zest for life is absolutely contagious!

While Bingo and her siblings are too young to find their forever homes just yet, their journey wouldn’t be possible without the love and care of their amazing mom, Sparkles. 🌟 Big news for Oliver! 🐾💖

We’re thrilled to announce that our sweet Papillon, Oliver, has found a loving foster home with Sharon! Not only has Sharon opened her heart and home to help this handsome boy heal, but her grandchildren also stepped in to give Oliver the warmest welcome. Their kindness, gentleness, and love showed Oliver he’s already part of the family. 💕👧👦🐶

At over 12 years old, Oliver came to us after his owner could no longer care for him. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who’s learning to adjust to his new surroundings. Thanks to Sharon’s care, his little heart is on the path to healing—both emotionally and physically.

But here’s the real question… will this foster placement turn into a “foster fail” (aka a forever home)? 👀 We’re taking bets (just kidding)! But we wouldn’t be surprised if Sharon and her family fall head over heels for Oliver’s sweet nature and charming personality. What do you think? Drop your predictions below! ⬇️

At just 8 lbs and an estimated 12 years old, Fancy is the epitome of resilience and unconditional love. Despite arriving at the shelter in heartbreaking condition—covered in fleas, matted fur, and missing most of her teeth (the few remaining need to be pulled)—her sweet spirit shines through. 🐶✨

Fancy has several medical needs that require immediate attention, but one thing is certain: she’s a loving lap dog who melts hearts wherever she goes. While she’s not yet available for adoption, she’s already part of the Rainbow Bridge family, and we’re committed to giving her the care she deserves. 💖

It’s inspiring to see how word-of-mouth and a shared love for rescue pets can change lives!

Marcie came to us as a gentle soul, a little shy but full of love once she opened her heart. At 12 years old, she’s a perfect example of why senior dogs are so special—they have so much love to give! On the tenth day of Christmas, we introduce you to Pixie, a stunning 12-year-old red Pomeranian with a heart full of hope and the sweetest little face. 🧡 Pixie has been through a lot and is now dreaming of a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood.

Pixie came to us after losing her home and has been working hard to overcome her past trauma. She needs someone patient and kind who can help her build trust, gently guide her through potty training, and give her the time she needs to settle in. Pixie is a special girl and thrives best in a calm environment without small children, as her history of biting shows she gets overwhelmed easily. She will also do best in a home without other dogs, as she truly deserves to be the center of someone’s world.

Hi friends, it’s me, Madge, here to share some exciting news about my new life with my mommy, Lauren! 💕

Mommy got me a snuffle mat—it’s this amazing thing where she hides my kibble and treats, and I get to sniff and snuffle around to find them. She says it’s to stimulate my mind (whatever that means), but I just think it’s the BEST game ever. 🎉 Mealtime has turned into funtime and I couldn’t be happier!

We currently have more applications than we do puppies, and we want to ensure every application receives the thoughtful consideration it deserves.

🌟 Peppermint Patty Update! 🌟

Our sweet Peppermint Patty is settling into her new home with her amazing mommy, Mary! Earlier this week, Mary took Patty to the vet for a grooming session and to address her itchy belly. Patty is now on antibiotics and prednisone and is already on the mend. Just look at how fabulous she looks after her spa day! 🐾✨

🎄 The 12 Dogs of Christmas – Meet Dog #8: Luca! 🎄

Our sweet and silly Luca is Dog our eight dog of our 12 Dogs of Christmas ! Luca is a 10 lb Maltese mix who was found as a stray in Orange County. Despite his rough start, he’s a bundle of joy and affection! 🐾

💙 Luca is:
🐶 Affectionate and playful – He loves playing with David and showing off his silly smile!
🦷 In need of dental care – Luca has some tooth decay and gum disease that need attention.
🩺 Medically vulnerable – He also has a heart murmur that needs monitoring as he moves forward.
🐾 Learning quickly – He’s working hard on potty training and adapting beautifully to rescue life.

Luca deserves the best shot at a happy, healthy future, and we need your help to get him there. Donations will go directly toward his dental procedure, ongoing vet care, and any medications he needs to live his best life.

We’re thrilled to share an update on our sweet senior chihuahua, Amber! Under the loving care of her new mommy, Charlotte, Amber is absolutely thriving. 💕

Charlotte has been incredible in ensuring that Amber’s many medical needs are addressed with the very best care possible. Thanks to this dedication, Amber is doing so much better with her walking, and her little hunch is almost gone! 🐾

We are so grateful to Charlotte for opening her heart and home to Amber and giving her the love and support she deserves. Senior dogs like Amber have so much life and love left to give when given the chance.

We finally have a new secure fence for all the babies!!

The past 2 weekends we have been at events. I want to thank Shanna, Donna, Jim, Jackie and Mary for all the help! We couldn’t do it without them.

I am working from home this week and I think these 12 are really enjoying it.

Cory is doing so much better.

Charlie has a deep affection for the outdoors and regularly spends time hiking and exploring nature. Recently, he went in for an exam to assess his health and fitness level. The results showed that Charlie is gaining weight and strength, which is great news!
