❣️LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TODAY❣️
🏡 Now She Needs A Home
We really wanted this to happen before the holiday, and today it did. Christmas miracles do happen 🌟
She seen sunshine, rolled in the grass, went shopping, enjoyed a bone, got about 1 million kisses, and tonight, Fergie is laying peacefully under a Christmas tree and not in a concrete cell with anxiety.
ADOPT/FOSTER
Community is powerful! Let’s continue to spread the word around for Fergie. After all this sweet momma went through its the least we can do for her SHE NOW NEEDS HER FOREVER HOME. ADOPT!!! 🙂
Fergie is 3 years old, weighs 45 pounds. She is vaccinated, fixed, and microchipped. We were able to get Fergie today because a wonderful foster offered to temporarily foster her. We will need a replacement FOSTER after the holiday while we continue to search for her forever family. If you would like to foster please send us a message. It is such a rewarding experience.
🚨🚨🚨WARNING SENSITIVE CONTENT🚨🚨🚨
It is not uncommon for us to feed the street dogs when we see them, day or night. We happened to see this baby girl while out there. This is Flower. 🌷 We seen her beauty. Beautiful, just like a flower. This is how we found her. In the freezing cold, in the mud and trash, suffering with so much pain and on death’s doorstep. We have seen A LOT of evil but even we truly could not believe what we were seeing. She could not move, she fell over. We could not just pick her up and carry her to the car or place her in a normal crate, she was in too much pain. We removed the lid from a plastic crate, gently got her in, and immediately took her to the emergency vet.
It is difficult to write these words as we will never, ever, ever understand this. She was skinned alive, burnt, and beaten. Her legs and arms were broken, her ribs were fractured and bruised. She was cut open, there was so much internal damage, her organs were destroyed, she was in unbearable pain, and could barely breathe. She was thrown out like trash on the side of the road to suffer an awful death. We did everything we could, but despite all of our efforts she did not make it. It was just too late by the time we found her. We will never know how long she was out there suffering. 💔😩😭 Flower was 5 months old. A puppy!!!
There will never be an answer to all our questions. What type of human being could do this? Why would they do this, did they get pleasure out of this beautiful girls pain and suffering? Sick, sick, and sickening!! What she went through is incomprehensible. We wish we could have changed her outcome. As rescuers we save lives and when we can not, nothing hurts more 💔 We are finding some comfort in knowing she did not die out there suffering in pain, freezing, scared, and alone. Even if for a short time, she was surrounded by love and affection. We may have lost the battle with Flower but it won’t stop us from continuing to try

🚨HELP DUKE FIND A HOME 🚨
Look at this handsome little dude ❤️ We have been on the search for Duke’s forever family with no luck yet. We can’t wrap our brains around how this is even possible. How could anybody pass him by? ☹️ He is beyond sweet, cuddly, and smart. Check out his training skills at the end in the attached video. He is also potty trained. He truly is a fantastic dog and we are asking for help from the community to spread the word for Duke.
Duke was found homeless in Tecate, Mexico. Like so many others, he was wandering the streets alone, scavenging for food and water, had no shelter in the extreme heat and cold weather, and searching for love. He will never ever have to be out there again. He deserves nothing less than a family that will continue to give him the life he has always deserved.
Duke is 5 1/2 months old, a shephard mix, estimated weight fully grown is 50lbs. He gets along well with children of all ages, other dogs, and everyone he meets. He loves his belly rubs, cuddling, playing with his toys and outdoor adventures. He is a well behaved and good-natured pup. He is going to do well in a variety of settings.
Duke is 100% healthy. He is fully vetted, tested, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Duke please send us an inquiry or email us at [email protected].
Thank you,
Road To Freedom Rescue
URGENT HELP Hi everyone good afternoon. Our dog rescue, Road To Freedom Rescue just rescued a mom and her 9 puppies. They were on the street, homeless and sick. We are a small independent not for profit rescue and this is the first time we have rescued so many dogs. We just could not standby and leave them out there to perish. We tried so hard to save them all but 3 puppies just could not fight the pneumonia. We are heart broken. We are providing them all with the medical care they need and so far the mom and 6 puppies are doing better.
Due to the medical costs to treat them and the amount of dogs we are asking for help. We are not asking for money. We are asking for supplies that you may have at home. Our immediate need is puppy food and crates. That is what we need most. We will always accept any other items for dogs you may have that you don’t use. If you would like to verify our rescue You can find us at roadtofreedomrescue.com or Facebook and Instagram.
I thank you in advance for your kindness in helping us help them.
Hi Everyone 😊 Road To Feedom Rescue is searching for a foster right away.
Mila arrived in the States from Mexico on Saturday. She has been with a foster since then. The foster just informed us she got called back to work today and can no longer foster since she has to be in the office tomorrow. I understand this is last minute. We were not expecting this and really need help to move Mila today.
Mila is a female, 6 months old and weighs 26 pounds. She appears to be a black lab mix.
She is suuuuper sweet, gentle and calm. She is potty trained. She has been through a lot. She was very bonded with her sister who recently passed away. ☹️ She is shy and just needs some love and affection to open up.
She is vaccinated, spade, given flea and tick medication and just recently went to the vet and given a clean bill of health. We just like to keep an eye on them for a few weeks while we are searching for her forever home.
We supply all food, treats, crate, bed, blankets, toys, bowls, leash, collar, harness, etc.
Do you think you would be able to help with fostering Mila? We would really appreciate the help 😊
