❣️❗️HELP NEEDED: Dogs Affected by Wildfires

At Road to Freedom Rescue, we want to do everything we can to assist in the ongoing crisis caused by the wildfires in California. The Pasadena Humane Society is currently overwhelmed, taking in countless dogs affected by the fires. They are either displaced or injured with nowhere else to go. The shelter was already overfilled with dogs. To make room, they’ve had to send dogs with more to come, to the San Diego Humane Society, which also has hundreds of dogs in their care. They need assistance. We are committed to helping, but we cannot do it without you. We need your help to make room for the incoming dogs. Together, we can make a difference in these dogs’ lives. 💖

🐶 HOW CAN YOU HELP? 🐶

🏡 FOSTER A DOG: We are seeking temporary foster homes to care for these dogs while we work to give them a brighter future. We provide everything you’ll need - food, supplies, support and medical care. All we ask for is a loving heart and space in your home. We asking for a 3-4 week committment.

💰DONATE TO THEIR CARE: Donations are needed to help provide care for the dogs which includes medical exams, food, and other necessary supplies. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax deductible.

This adorable little guy is Toby, and he’s got a heart as big as his personality! Toby’s journey started off tough—found in a dump yard, frail and sick, the odds were stacked against him. But with some extra TLC, specialized vet care, and a lot of love, Toby is now 100% healthy and ready for his forever home! 💖 He is a lap dog in every sense of the word—he wants to be with his people. Can’t blame the little guy, he was found all alone. If you’re someone who’s home often, loves to cuddle, or enjoys taking your dog out with you, Toby is ready to be your little sidekick!

He’s a bit of a diva (in the best way!) Toby thrives when he's the center of attention and loves being pampered by his humans. While he lives in foster care with other dogs, and even enjoys a game of play with them when everyone’s chilling out and not seeking attention, he still prefers to spend his time with his humans. He would be happy as the only dog in the household, simply because, he loves when the spotlight is on him and he is the star of the show ⭐️ He doesn’t mind sharing the attention with the kitties. He is buddies with the resident cat.

🚨URGENT: Foster or Forever Homes Needed for 2 Precious Dogs🚨

Dear followers, animal lovers, and kind-hearted souls,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts and a desperate plea for help. We have used every resource we have for these two amazing dogs in our care and despite our best efforts, we have not been able to find either a foster or forever home for them. We simply cannot continue our mission of saving other dogs without finding a solution for these two.

‼️Why is this so urgent?
We are a small rescue with limited resources, and unfortunately, we have reached a point where we can’t continue helping other animals until these two find their temporary or forever homes. We provide everything they need in foster care. All we ask for is love, care, and a safe space while they wait for their forever families. These two sweet dogs deserve so much and it breaks our hearts. We know that there are so many wonderful people out there, but we just can’t understand why no one has stepped up yet. We’re truly at a loss.

🐶 Bruce is 7 months old. Not only is he absolutely adorable, he is a sweetie.
🐶 Darius is Bruce’s brother. He is also 7 months old. He has the best smile and he is a true cuddle buddy! We are also searching for an immediate foster for him.
🐶 Allie is 3 1/2 years old and weighs 27lbs. She is a gentle soul with a big heart!

They have been waiting so long for a second chance. They were all found homeless and didn’t have an easy life. They all deserve to enjoy the good life. Let's show them they matter. 😊

🐾 Meet Allie: A True Survivor Ready for Her Forever Home! 🐾

We love, love, love this girl 🥰 Allie is a brave and loving pup who has overcome incredible challenges! Found homeless, Allie gave birth on the street and cared for her precious puppies, all while battling illness herself. Despite facing the heartache of sickness and the weight of the world on her shoulders, Allie never gave up. She had TVT cancer, a curable cancer with proper treatment. She fought through it and we are thrilled to share that between excellent veterinary care and a lot of love she has now triumphed over it! She’s 100 % healthy, happy, and ready to start a new chapter in her life.

Allie is not just a survivor; she’s a gentle soul who adores people and craves companionship. Her affectionate nature and resilient spirit will fill your heart with joy. She deserves a loving home where she can finally have a family of her own and enjoy the life she fought so hard for. She is 3 1/2 years old and weighs 27lbs. She is fully vetted.

Meet Sonny, our first foster dog to honor Django. Day one is going well. I gave him a little tour of the city via car en route home. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where his number was pretty much up. He made it out of there alive to thrive going forward. Sweet as pie. Around 6 y/o. Mellow fellow.
