DeSplinter Dachshunds Small Town Breeder of AKC Miniature Dachshunds. We are a small town breeder of smooth and longhaired miniature dachshunds. All our dogs are raised in our home.

We purchased our first smooth red miniature dachshund, Winnie Wiener, in 2007, after raising and breeding Labradors for years. We fell in love with the breed and purchased our second Isabella tan miniature dachshund in 2011. It was then that we decided to start our breeding program in 2014. AJ owns DeSplinter Carpentry and I (Carolyn) have been in law enforcement for 24 years. We live in the Count

ry and have over an acre of yard for our dogs to run and play in. We have two adult children that have grown up in the house with our dogs and pups, who now both have dachshunds of their own. We do not kennel our dogs. Our puppies are socialized with our pack, adult children, and our immediate families' wiener dogs. I am an AKC Breeder with H.E.A.R.T (Health, Education, Accountability, Responsibility, and Tradition. All our dogs are Genetically health tested and are PRA clear. Our breeding program aims to produce healthy, well-tempered dogs that make excellent pets. We love our pups and you will too!
