His face: 😳
Our face: 😳
Frankie’s been a real trooper this week. He’s moving around the house and yard better each day, and our unofficial weigh-in shows a 1.5 pound weight loss! His foster mom finally found a dog food he will eat (frozen raw 🙄) and got him a stroller so he can go to park with his foster siblings. He continues to love every person and every dog he meets, furiously wagging his little tail.
He’s getting better about being alone with another dog for short periods of time without howling or crying but he’d love a home where people are around a lot or can take him with wherever they are going. He needs to be carried outside and often around the house, so an adopter would need to be able to lift him. He is surprisingly house trained and will do his business outdoors as long as he’s taken out to do so.
Frankie’s weight loss journey is going to be a marathon, not a sprint, so we are looking for a solid home that will continue to work with him on diet and exercise. Frankie is a work in process, but he is a happy, silly boy with lots of love to give.
