Yet, so many struggle to do this. Not only are you missing life and love with time not promised, but so isn't your dog. Put the screens down 30 mins a day twice a day at least. Give your dog time, they deserve it.

👏👏 Make training fun and it will benefit you and your dog. So important to always train. And yes, old dog can still learn or try new tricks, so try it. You may be surprised of what consistency and fun do to a dog/owners relationship. 🐾

A tool is used for a reason. All situations are different. Don't just slap a tool on a dogs neck without knowledge of how it works, how to size it properly, and also when and if it's appropriate to use on that dog. A lot of tools are misused and will absolutely set your pup up for failure. *ASK* Just because it's sold in stores does NOT mean it's a good training tool for all dogs. Ask a reputable certified trainer about all options first. Lean toward positive reward based training as much as you can. 🐾

Stop using flexi leashes. Big or small 🐾, they are a horrible piece of plastic that causes injuries long term for dogs of all sizes. They give no boundaries or control on walks and allows your dog to freely walk in people yards and or greet dogs they shouldn't be greeting. Please ✋️ using them for the love of your dog. Fabric long leads are just as good. And they will give more control, less physical damage to you and your dogs toss the flexi already.

Collar safety... I personally have been in the presence of two dogs being caught on eachothers collars through play. The dog did go into a state of shock (completely limp) and thankfully I was able to release the collar and everyone was OK. Not all dogs get lucky and not always is there a human around or paying attention when this happens. So please think about the times a collar could do more harm than good. Quick release collars are great. I will NEVER recommend a buckle collar.
