These two beauties are looking for a home! Buffy and Willow are best buds and totally awesome house kittens. They are playful and fun, but also looooove sitting on laps and getting attention. They are great with my adult cats, they like kids and are curious about dogs. They can be separated, but they make a great kitten team and will entertain and keep each other company when their people are away. They are spayed, fully vaccinated, tested neg for FIV/FeLV, are microchipped and dewormed. Please help spread the word!

This litter of kittens has been really fun. The two boys have already found homes and are doing great, but these girls are now looking for their adopters. Willow and Buffy are best buddies and have complimentary personalities; Buffy is bold, fun, and always ready to lead the way while Willow is more passive and happily tags after her sister. Both are great lap cats and love being held. They would make a great pair! They can be separated, but they would be happiest with another kitty companion. Some kitten content for a little comfort: this goober, Giles, was adopted by some folks who were looking for a buddy for their Rainbow Ribbon Kittens alum (who is also clearly a goober). When I brought Giles over for the introduction, he strolled out of the carrier and it took all of 30 seconds for the two of them to start playing. Instant best friends, despite Dapper being about 12.5 lbs of fit adult cat and Giles still less than 4 lbs. I try hard for all of my adoptions to feel "right" but sometimes you get matches that were really meant to be. Congratulations Giles! I hope you all have/find friends that bring you real happiness. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

This little nugget is Daisy, a kitten with only three feet, but a wonderful personality and the most heart-melting green eyes. She was scooped up from a feral colony when a kind person noticed her hobbling on three feet at about 10 weeks old. It took a little while to earn her trust, but once she felt safe, she turned into the most loving, playful, goofy little girl. She's looking for a home; ideally one with another cat (she loves my three older females) and probably one that isn't super busy, as she is still nervous around new people. Sometimes really special kitties come along, and Daisy is one of them. I love all my fosters, but this little girl is just a little extra wonderful. I've had such a fun time fostering this year! So many excellent kitties!
Tansy and Marigold were adopted last week by a lovely couple and are doing great. I'll miss them! But while they were up for adoption, I took in a single female kitten who is missing her right hind foot. I don't know exactly what her story is, but I'm guessing she was born this way. She gets around just fine, but I'm so glad a kind person caught her and saved her from a dangerous life on the streets of Syracuse. She's timid but she's starting to trust me and is becoming very sweet and playful. I love her 🤩
And then while I was visiting my friend back in CNY this weekend, I ended up coming home to VT with 5 surprise kittens, all about 5 weeks old. So we're back to a full house here. We still have Lily, the semi-feral mom of Jellybean, Peep and Cadbury. She's been acting as the nursery-marm (albeit with some reluctance). Thanks for babysitting, Lily.

I'm so pleased that Jellybean and Snapdragon were both adopted by wonderful people and are doing really well adjusting to their new lives! Good luck, boys! Meanwhile, Tansy and Marigold have been ruling the roost and are looking for a home together. They make a really great pair and they both are sweet, lovely, charismatic kitties. Not to mention gorgeous...

New kittens on the block! Meet Marigold (orange), Tansy (torbie) and Snapdragon (gray & white). These babies are about 15 weeks old, and they were just spayed and neutered. They are real love bugs, and it's been really fun to have them here. Jellybean (black & white) had his special surgery since he only had, uh, one bean present. He's doing great and is looking for a new home. He is a truly handsome fella! Snapdragon has an adopter lined up, but Tansy and Marigold are still available. They would make a great pair! Tansy is more dominant and wants to be the queen, and Marigold is very happy following her lead.

It's adoption time!! Peep, Cadbury, Jellybean and their mom Lily are all up for adoption. Sorry I've been a bit absent- life is very busy at the moment! But the kittens have been doing great. Here's my dream scenario: Peep and Cadbury are good buddies and get adopted together and live their best lives. Jellybean is quite the mama's boy, and she certainly loves her kiddos, so some kind soul adopts them together. Because Lily is something of a special case. She's very timid around people. Some might even say semi-feral, though that could give the impression that she was aggressive or dangerous, which isn't true. She's just shy. And additionally, she's 100% deaf, and survived some trauma that left her with no teeth and damaged front legs. She gets around fine and eats both dry and wet food without issue, but I can't in good conscience place her in a barn with those disadvantages. So my hope/dream/fantasy is that some lovely human will be interested in adopting a cute-as-a-button kitten (black with white paws and whiskers!) and also giving a home to his mama where she can be safe and fed, even if she never becomes a certified lap-cat. Please reach out if you have any ideas or interest in either of these scenarios. All kitties will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, treated for parasites and fleas and microchipped. And very loved!

Soooo... I got some new babies a few weeks ago! They were born outside in a snowstorm but they survived and are thriving. They have a very scared, semi-feral mama taking care of them. She's done a great job keeping them clean and fed, and I've been providing her with lots of support to make sure everyone does well. I scooped them up in Syracuse on Easter, so the babies are Cadbury, Jellybean and Peep, and mom is Lily. They are 5 weeks old and doing great!

Calvin and Hobbes were adopted today! I am so pleased with their new home and all the love and care they will receive from their new humans. I'm going to miss having them around, but I'm happy too that they have graduated from foster care and have started their new life. They're already enjoying watching the bird feeders. Congrats Calvin & Hobbes!

Calvin and Hobbes were neutered yesterday! They both did really well and are recovering nicely (though extra snuggles were in order). These little guys are ready for adoption and will make wonderful companions. They have extremely sweet personalities and are goofy, playful and really into couch time. We took a little kitten fostering break in January to work on some house projects, but a few weeks ago we scooped up these two little dudes from a rescuer in Oneida, NY. Calvin (gray) and Hobbes (buff) are incredibly sweet and affectionate kittens! They had a bout of kitten viruses, but with some time and TLC, they've rebounded tremendously and are thriving, energetic little cats now! They are scheduled to be neutered this week and then they'll be looking for their forever home.
