I have roped cattle on him outside he will track right up on them and give you a great shot to catch. He is very smooth in his gaits; he has the best lope around. This excellent Percheron gelding was born July 15, 2013 on a small farm in Indiana where he spent his first couple of years as a pasture pet and barn friend. He was trained to drive as a 3-year-old and was used on some light farm machinery for a couple years which was good experience for him.
As a 5-year-old, Lincoln went to work on a hobby farm pulling the plow, doing some logging, working in parades, and on the trails. He pretty much got to see it all and do it all.
Lincoln came to our farm in 2021 where he has been used to pull wagons and buggies in heavy traffic. He works around all kinds of distractions including crowds of people, cars, and machinery and is super steady. He is also used often on trail rides and is as good bareback as he is under saddle. Lincoln has been ridden or driven with lots of different horses and by lots of different people. He is very people friendly and gets along great with other horses and animals in the pasture.
Lincoln stands 17 hands and weighs approximately 2000 pounds.
As you would expect for a horse with his experience, he stands well for the farrier, clips easily, and hauls well in trailers. Lincoln would be a great horse for beginners to learn to ride or drive and has that WOW! Color.

Houston is available. He did not sell at the Dixie Horse Sale this past weekend. It just wasn't the right sale for a horse like this.Houston is a 5-year-old spotted draft / Belgian cross gelding. He was born May 12, 2017 and spent his first 3 years on a local produce farm learning the ropes. He came to our farm in 2021 and we have continued to train him. Most recently he has been used pulling wagons full of people. He has also been used on trail rides alone and with other horses. Houston is great with people and is crowd safe. He gets along great with other horses and animals including our goats, sheep, and cats.Houston is trained to drive single and double as well as under saddle. He is sound, traffic safe, and crowd safe too.
