This week was an eye doctor visit to see how Willow is responding to her meds and to make sure Juliette is comfortable with her eye, even though she is blind we are trying to save her from going through the surgery of removing the eye. Great news!! Willow is responding well to her meds and there is no progression of the uveitis and we dont have to go back for 4 maybe 6 months. Juliette has no inflammation and she is good too. Sooooooo this week we made the decision to move Juliette and Taffy to a new paddock. Much closer to the barn. We have had some bumps and bruises ( mostly to the humans) because when there is wind ( which we never get right😄) Juliette is what we call on high/super duper scared alert. When I left the barn today not only were Juliette and Taffy sleeping, Juliette let me snuggle with her when she was lying down.❤❤❤❤ ( usually she pops up super fast to be prepared for what is coming)

Because I had a helper today ( thank you Joe😊) I had time to get these videos of Junebug feeling her oats❤. Cleaned the kids stall then they fell asleep standing up on the straw bale, I guess they didn't want to mess their room up.🐐🐐🐐

What a great day for a field trip. The Wild and Free Homeschool Group joined us today. Of course we had Wilbur and Dixie time, obstacle course fun with Mr. Joe, craft time with Shelly and Lucky, horse time with Norma, Debbie & Lynn, snack time with Junebug (Junebug received the snacks 🤣) and baby goat watching time.
Loads of fun.

Well this was a round bale this morning...Juliette was working hard today spreading it all out to take a nap in it. Which is okay because I am happy that she feels safe enough to take a nap outside.Taffy was on high alert watching over her. Glad they rested..Taffy has been an awesome buddy to Juliette and takes her job of being Juliette's eyes seriously. LOVE ❤❤❤

Taffy wants to let everyone know that we have 2 camps scheduled in February. Saturday the 12th, Valentine's Day Camp 2pm -4pm $35 a participant and Monday the 21st Presidents Day Camp Half Day ( 9am-12pm $55 a participant) OR Full Day (9am-3pm $100 a participant)

It was Wilbur and Dixie day today. Lesson students worked on their core strength and practiced posting ba****ck style (abs and inner thighs will be sore 😄). Super fun workout today. Wilbur was great!! Dixie was a super duper cheerleader, remover of all distractions (aka cats) and holder of the gloves.

Today's adventure was a trip to Town & Country Equine and Pet Hospital in Louisburg to have the kids disbudded, the boys banded, baby shots and Lavenders checkup. Dr. Jeff Thompson did an awesome job and all the kids are doing great and so is momma. We do have a name change..we have 2 boys and 1 girl😁😄😊 The boys are Sir Saffron and Prince Paprika and the girl is Cilantro 🐐🐐🐐They all fit in the back seat of the truck nicely. Thanks to Rene for waking up early to help.

Cilantro, Verbena and Paprika are doing great. Lavender is a wonderful mom and is taking awesome care of her babies. They seem to be growing super fast and they are only 5 days old.

Lucky, Joe and I went on a little trip and brought this little cutie home. I ❤ Saturday date nights hanging out with Joe and the new addition to Hillman Horsemanship. WELCOME Junebug!! Junebug is a 10 year old Dexter cow and is going to be having a baby in March.

Fun Friday, our last day of Winter Camp. Campers had a great time from learning about horse colors & breeds to how to sit correctly in a saddle and lots & lots more🐎🐎. Our next camp is Monday, January 17th 9am to 12pm half day OR 9am to 3pm full day.

Thursday Horse Time, today at camp we learned about how important communication is between horse & rider, hoof care and craft time.

Wednesday fun at camp. We learned the difference between English & Western saddles and even got to clean the saddles and then ride Willow, Timmy and Roxy.

Teamwork Tuesday!! We had a great time working altogether to make an in-hand pattern with cones, cleaned stalls, swept and of course had lots of riding time with Wilbur, Dixie, Taffy, Willow, Timmy, Summer, Roxy and Lola.
