Our little Mama Myrtle is back at the vet today. She’s been wheezing and coughing a lot so we brought her in for more tests. Her radiographs showed a little bit of fluid around her heart and lungs and her heart is slightly enlarged and she may have a little bit of pneumonia. So she’s going to start on several medications to try and get this under control and managed.
Again we are in need of donations to help with medical bills. Please donate if you can and no amount is too small.

STALLONE! He’s still with us as we never found his owner so he’s probably another result of “let’s mess his head up and then dump him” 😡 If anyone remembers he’s the pup that was found in Charlotte then driven to Virginia and we drove up there and brought him back here.
KC has been working with him and he trusts and adores her, but just her. He knows several commands so someone trained him but he’s on guard with strangers. We think that someone was very abusive towards him and he has become the type of dog that has learned to be a survivor and not a victim.
Yesterday we had him neutered and shaved down at Pressly Animal Hospital,PLLC Dr Pressley and his team were amazing with caring for him and handling him.
Hopefully getting rid of the mats and a lot of hormones will also help with his demeanor.
Stallone is a work in progress. Daryl with FurBabies Animal Rescue will be meeting him next week to see if she can help with him in any way as well.
Someone really jacked this puppy up but we’re not giving up on him. He deserves a chance and although he’s out of our wheelhouse it is what it is and we have to try.

Another AMAZING ADOPTION announcement!
Our Doodle girls have now ALL found a wonderful home ❤️ La Vida was the last of her littermates to find that perfect connection but she says it was worth every second of the wait 😊
She has a new name Stella-Mae and a whole new life ahead of her with lots of wonderful times ahead! New doggie friends to play with and a new doting Mom that will be taking her all around to show her all kinds of new exciting and fun adventures.
We couldn’t be happier… even though she is very missed we are over the moon for Stella-Mae and Cindy, her new mom!

The first Aussie pup, Olivia, has landed in her foster home today! We are still processing apps and making sure everyone is healthy. Stay tuned!

Congratulations to the Scaldara family! Mia is now part of their pack ❤️
This sweet little girl had a wonderful home but due to circumstances that were not in their control they sadly had to give her up. Her family loved her dearly and wanted the best for her so they chose to surrender her into Rescue. We knew the perfect home for Mia and she has settled in wonderfully and is doing great! Her previous family has been kept updated and in touch with the Scaldaras and they are grateful that Mia is very loved and in good hands.

This little adorable ball of cuteness is loving life!
Sammy has been adopted by a wonderful family, the Sessoms! They are very connected to the Rescue world and know all about the trials and triumphs that comes with it thru Freedom Farm Rescue.
We knew when Anne’s (the founder of FFR) sister put in an application for Sammy that he would be in great hands with an animal loving family. Sammy took right up with them and is getting spoiled rotten everyday!
We promised his previous owner who loved Sammy dearly that we would find him a great home. She sadly had to give him up due to having heart surgery and not physically being able to keep up with his needs. Sometimes the right thing is the hardest thing but she did what she knew was best for him and that’s what real love is all about.
We are so glad that we were able to help get Sammy into a home that was perfect for him!

Sweet precious Jace has found his forever home! This little guy made a soft landing with the Crossmans, two time — now three time PINC adopters.
We love this wonderful couple and we hope that Jace has helped heal their hearts as they lost Veda in her senior years, then Bo Bo who unexpectedly became ill and despite all efforts he sadly could not be cured. Veda was with them for several years and Bo Bo was only theirs for a short time but they dearly loved him and this was a devastating loss. Hearts were shattered from both losses because their dogs are very loved and are part of the family.
We were happy to match this couple with a perfect little angel to help fill the big holes that were left in their hearts. Jace is so loved and adored… and their hearts are slowly on the mend 🐾❤️🐾

ZACH IS looking for his forever home❤️ He is a full on Dobie! I’m a big baby, around 3 yrs old, 62 lbs, all legs and my foster mom calls me Grasshopper… she says I’m lanky. I am very trainable and love playing with other dogs! I’m still a work in progress, but learning more everyday. ❤️

JETT is looking for her forever home❤️This baby girl is so silky black and shiny! Beautiful slick coat. Petite Labrador mix, just turned 1 yrs old, and only weighs 33 lbs ❤️ Gets along great with other dogs. Shy but very sweet and energetic.

Shepherd lovers… we have a sweetheart that’s looking for her forever home!
Stella is an Anatolian Shepherd around a year old, weighing in at 53 lbs. She is fantastic with other dogs and loves to play, very submissive to corrections and loves people too!
Stella’s breed is of working class livestock guardians so she will need a home with plenty of exercise and someone who is experienced with this breed or similar breeds.
She is playful and so sweet and behaves like a big puppy. Some basic training will be a must which Stella loves to learn and is a very smart girl!
