PENDING ADOPTION!
This adorable little guy is now ready for his forever home!
Kobe is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and tested heartworm negative.
He’s a sweet little 5 year old Yorkie, weighing 10.2 lbs but his ideal weight will be around 13-14 lbs.
Kobe has presented some mild seizure activity and our vet has diagnosed him as being malnourished which may be the cause. We’ve started him on Zonisamide, a mild anti seizure medication, and we’re feeding him a healthy diet to fatten him up a bit. He’s doing great, such a happy boy!
Kobe will thrive and be happiest in a home that’s a little more low key and with someone who is home a lot. He’s a little Velcro dog and likes having his human companions around. Kobe does not like to be crated he wants to be sitting and chillin’ right with his people or person.
He loves other dogs and is fine with cats, very submissive, but humans are most important to him.

We’re considering bringing this adorable little nugget into Rescue!
Owner is downsizing and wants to find her a good home via Rescue.
Her name is Chi Chi and she’s an American Bully, 1-1/2 years old, weighing about 25 lbs.
Sweet disposition, basically your perfect couch potato. She’s housetrained, gets along with other dogs and is good with indoor cats.
Chi Chi will need all of her vetting (exam, f***l test, spay, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, and her cherry eye will get repaired during her spay surgery). All of these things we will take care of…

We wanted to share some photos and let you all know what we’ve been doing over the holidays. Some may not be aware that we not only have Pawsitive Impact but we also run Tucker K-9 Search & Rescue as well which works hand in hand a lot of times with our Rescue and many others.
The New Year brought in a lot of new intakes and we could really use your help with funding to get these furkids what they need. Vetting costs have skyrocketed as most of you know and our adoption fees only cover a fraction of what it takes to get these animals the care they need. Sometimes we get lucky and break even but most of the dogs need extra medical care beyond vaccinations, spay & neuter.
We could really use some help right now with donations, foster homes and sharing our fb page and posts of our available pets.
We have some AMAZING dogs & puppies that are not being seen so we need your help with sharing them.

The day after holidays celebrated with fireworks are by far when we see the most lost pets and devastation upon livestock and wildlife.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR ANIMALS ON THAT LIST!
Check your fences, make sure your pets have collars on (we highly recommend with reflective material) and tags, update microchip contact info. Some pets require meds to help keep them calm. We see posts every year of someone’s little Chihuahua having a heart attack from the sheer terror of their neighbor’s fireworks display… meds can help them get through this so call your vet today and get that prescription filled. There are natural calming meds that you can purchase as well.
Keep your pets indoors after dark, you can put p*e pads down so you don’t have to risk taking them outside and losing them over fireworks and if you have a fence still put them on a leash and walk them inside the fence. If you have a new pet or foster pet DO NOT take them
outside on New Years Eve night period.
These are all simple little things you can do to help keep your pets safe!
AND PETSITTERS… be smart, be responsible! You have someone’s beloved pet in your care and they are trusting you to keep that animal safe.

INCOMING!
Beautiful one year old English Setter! River has no interest in bird hunting so he’s being surrender to us on Sunday.
Owner says he’s sweet, a little shy at first with strangers, but dog & cat friendly.
River doesn’t want to work he wants to hang out with his people and be a regular dog 😊
We’re looking for a possible foster to potentially adopt applicant. River has some vetting that we will take care of right away and he will also be neutered soon!

ADOPTED!
Please welcome Tinker Boo our newest intake to Pawsitive Impact! This little girl was shelter bound and as overcrowded as the shelters are we just couldn’t say no.
We just got her in Tuesday evening and she’s on her way to the vet now to get an examination and UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Tink is a sweet, dog friendly YorkiPoo, 4.5 years old, weight approx 15 lbs (she’s a little overweight right now so we’re going to try to get a few lbs off of her) and she’s in need of a haircut.
