Our sweet Xena had a wonderful dayā¦ starting off with a warm bath, a car ride, a meet & greet, visit to the pet store and then finishing the day off with a doggie ice cream sundae at Brusterās! But thatās not the best partā¦ Xena passed with flying colors when meeting her new family today. Friday will be her big day š¾ā¤ļøš¾
This baby girl is so silky black and shiny! Beautiful slick coat. Petite Labrador mix. Gets along great with other dogs. Shy but very sweet.
Jett is waiting patiently for her forever home!
WAITā¦ Who says Rescue dogs are all mutts?
My name is Zach and Iām a full on Dobie! Iām a big puppy, all legs and my foster mom calls me Grasshopperā¦ she says Iām lanky. I love playing with other dogs! Iām still a work in progress learning more everyday. I would really love to have my forever home soon!

Sammie! Sweet little Pugā¦ heās only 10
months old and ready for his forever home!
BEARā¦ AussieDoodle available for adoption 10 months old! Sweet boy looking for his forever home!
Dollyā¦ Golden Doodle 10 months old! Total lovebug looking for her forever home!
Beautiful Xena is available for adoption! Great with other dogs and loves people.
Xena is energetic and will do best with an active couple or one person who is active (no small kids) as sheās very young under 2 years old and still gets excited and may be too much for younger kids. Sheās a really good girl, very loving and sweet!
CHASE is available for adoption! Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix. Gets along great with other dogs and cats but needs one owner. He becomes attached to his person and doesnāt like to share with other humans.
Cartwright & Cassie (Chihuahuas) 12 weeks old! Available for adoption!
3 female Golden Doodle Pups 8 months old available for adoption!
Yesterday we received heartbreaking news that one of our wonderful adopters, Violet Clarke, passed away š
She was an amazing mom to these two precious, very bonded furkids Tater & Ziggy. They were so adored by her and very well taken care of and weāre sure they are missing her terribly.
Tater is a PINC alumni who was adopted from us by Violet a few years ago. Heās around 6 years old now and Ziggy was also a rescue who is around 8 years old.
These two must stay together this was their Momās wish as they are very bonded.
We cannot break their little hearts twice so they will have to be adopted out together.
Both are crate trained, house trained, leash trained, friendly with other small dogs (they are socialized and spent time at doggie day care), and they do great with children. They do not do well with bigger dogs Ziggy has fear aggression and both are too inquisitive about cats so not a good fit with the kitties.
We really are so very sad for Violet and her family and these two sweet babiesā¦ life just isnāt fair sometimes but we will make sure that we honor their Momās final wishes and find them a loving home together.
If interested please visit and fill out an adoption application on our website at

These two lovebugs will soon be ready adoption so get your apps in as they will not last long!
Both pups were in a home together and very bonded so we would love to try and keep them together if we can.
Dolly is 7 months old, sheās a Golden Doodle, with a very sweet personality.
Bear is 7 months old, heās an Aussie Doodle, and just like Dolly he has great disposition.
(They are around the same age but not littermates)
We estimate both will be medium to larger sized dogs when full grown.

We have cutest little Pug thatās looking for his forever home! Sammy is super sweet, loves everybody and plays well with other dogs. Heās a ball of energy and will need someone who can give him a lot of exercise but in short and safe intervals. Pugs get overheated very easily and they have specific needs so weāre looking for an adopter that is experienced with this breed.
Sammy is less than a year old (approx 10 months old). He was surrendered to us because his mom was having significant health problems and she couldnāt take care of Sammy and give him what he needed as she was limited because of her failing health. She loved Sammy very much and wanted to be sure he gets a great home so we are going to be looking for the perfect fit! You can apply for Sammy on our website at http://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/?
We are so proud of Myrtle tonight! ā¤ļø She had her precious little babies, two little tiny nuggets š¾š¾
Nature is so amazingā¦ watching Myrtle do her thing as her instincts kicked in she knew exactly what to do and she was so perfect!
What a good little mama š¾ā¤ļøš¾
This is a post that I really hate to be making but we are out of resources for Jesse who has a behavioral issue.
Jesse came into the Rescue a few years ago and was fostered until he was adopted out. Sadly, two years later his adopter passed away and we took him back.
Jesse is an unpredictable biter but somehow his mom was able to handle him but weāve tried unsuccessfully, although heās 95% a total love bug he strikes without a trigger, no warning. Heās been in foster care for over a year with his original foster who absolutely loves and adores him and has tried her best with him. Weāve had Jesse on Prozac for most of the year but he bit her again without any reason. Heās attempted to bite others as well and understandably she doesnāt feel like itās safe to keep him any longer. We have no more resources within the rescue and I have too many dogs in my care to risk having him with me. I just canāt risk an injury.
We have no choice but to consider humane euthanasia. I have never done thisā¦ 7 years running a rescue and Jesse would be the first and this is a heartbreaking thing for not only us but especially his foster mom who would have kept him forever.
I know Rescues are overwhelmed but the only thing I can do is throw a Hail Mary for him if there is possibly a Rescue that has more resources that may be interested in working with him. Iām at a loss and canāt do anymore, unfortunately. š

ADOPTION UPDATE! Sweet little Reba has found her perfect forever home! This pup loves life and everything about it and everyone she meets. She loves the company of other dogs which is another reason this is the perfect home for her as she has plenty of siblings to play with and wear out ā¤ļø When one is tired she can move on to the next because she will be the last one still ready to play! Reba is one of the sweetest fosters that Iāve had the pleasure of knowing and caring for. So knowing she is loved, wanted and happy makes our hearts smile big! We love you Reba! Thank you Melissa for choosing to adopt and showing our girl the love she so deserves! Happy Tails sweet Reba š¾ā¤ļøš¾ ~ Teresa
Diego & Cruz are available for adoption and will be ready soon! Both males around 9 weeks old and will be larger dogs when full grown. Breed unknown but weāre guessing they are lab mixesā¦ possibly Shepherd/Collie. Both pups are adorable and have a very sweet demeanor. They were seen being dumped out of a pickup truckā¦ WELCOME TO THE GOOD LIFE SWEET BABIES š¾ā¤ļøš¾

Are those pictures overwhelming? It only begins to scratch the surface of what is happening at rescues and shelters! We cannot save these lives without FOSTERS! The animal rescue community is hurting for fosters. Rescues pay for vetting and supplies while fosters open their homes and hearts to a dog or cat waiting to be adopted. We receive countless emails, texts, phone calls, and messages 24 hours a day. People are surrendering their pets, shelters pleading for intake because they are forced to euthanize to make room for others, and strays that have been abandoned. Itās heartbreaking. The problem remains to be people tiring of their responsibility and commitment to their dog and deciding to give him/her away and not spaying and neutering. We do not have a dog problem; we have a people problem. This is the worst season we have ever had in rescue. Foster offers, adoptions, and donations are down; however, the number of dogs needing rescue continues to increase. We need your help! Please, please consider fostering. If you already foster, thank you. If you are interested in fostering, email [email protected]. #dogsincharlotte #dogsofcharlotte #adoptmeclt #dogsofclt #petinthecitync #williamssubaruclt #charlottesgotalot #luckydogbarkandbrew #cltpups #pincdogrescue
Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip are looking for their forever! These 18-weeks old lab mixes are super sweet. We are requiring a fenced-in backyard at their forever homes.
It truly takes a village! We need fosters or adopters for these pups. They can be split up. 12 Week Old Lab mixes. The black and white ones are males, and the brown and white are females. Fosters: Pawsitive Impact provides the food and supplies you need, and you provide love and a loving home. www.pincdogrescue.org
Albert joined the rescue in August. He was heartworm positive and unaltered. This guy went through the heartworm treatments like a champ with the love and care from his foster parents, Kristy and Evan. Today, we are excited to announce that Albert has found his forever family! Congratulations and Thank you to the Hagan Family! We know he is going to have a life full of adventure and love.
Albert, the Beagle/Foxhound Mix, is ready for his forever home. He's a 5 - 8-year-old male Beagle/Foxhound Mix who is adorable. House and crate trained, he loves going for walks and lounging around with his humans and fur siblings. He's a very calm, gentle soul and a complete love bug. He would be fine as an only dog but would love a fur sibling of the SAME SIZE OR SMALLER. FENCED-IN YARD IS REQUIRED AT Albert's forever home.
We got a Happy Thanksgiving message today from T aka Wendell ā¤ļø After 5 months on the lam and 1 month in Rescue he is so happy to finally be back home and reunited with his family and it really shows!
UPDATE: We are heartbroken to report that Maverick just went into cardiac arrest and was unable to be revived š God rest his little soul he fought hard but his body just couldn't fight anymore. We love you Maverick and we wish we could have saved you but we know you are no longer suffering. Huge thank you to all of you who donated towards his care. Your kindness and compassion is so greatly admired and appreciated. Rest easy Maverick ššš¾ We received a call this morning around 6:30 a.m. about a dog that had been hit by a car. So we rushed out immediately to pick him up and get him to the ER. He has some pretty severe trauma to his head with skull fracture and multiple fractures to his pelvis. Prognosis is hopeful ER Vet says x-rays were not as bad as she feared but the next 24-48 hours are critical. We hope and pray we can save this guy and he'll pull thru without any brain damage. We've put down a $1600 deposit our estimated costs for the next 2-3 days is $1800-2200. DONATIONS are needed so please help us try to save this pup! We are also hoping an owner is found but we could not let him suffer while we continue to search for his family. Thank you and please say a prayer for him we are calling him Maverick ā¤ļø
Please send thoughts and or prayers for Kenzo as he has his first heartworm injection tomorrow morning. The second injection will be administered in 30 days, and the third and final injection will be delivered the day after that. This is not an easy treatment, but it is necessary. He has overcome so much, and he will overcome the heartworms too. After he is cleared from heartworms, he will be neutered. After that, he will only have to have regular vet visits. He has the best foster, soon-to-be forever mom on the planet, and we know he will have the best care through this treatment.
I went to visit Dutton today, and he is just the sweetest puppy! This little guy loves people even though he has been so let down and deserved so much better. We did receive the results of his x-rays today, and the estimate for the surgeries to repair his legs... and I have to say I was floored š $7,000. We are trying to get another estimate as this will almost wipe our account out completely; even if we can find the surgeries to be a bit less elsewhere, it's still a tremendous vet bill. We will do what we have to do to help this puppy, but we need all of you to help us get through this. This is devastating, but at the same time, we are happy that he doesn't have injuries that are not fixable, so that's what's most important. We'll figure a way thru this so Dutton can have the chance he deserves to live a long, happy life. If you'd like to help us help this sweet boy, we would really be ever so grateful ā¤ļø
