We regret to inform you that we will be pausing intakes for the time being. We recognize the significant need for assistance with animals in Columbia, MS/Marion County, but we are unable to accept new cases at this moment due to a lack of fosters, sponsors, and donors. Currently, we have outstanding vet bills, and our capacity is full. We will however still share post as well as network to other rescues and help supply food to pets in need.

As a foster-based rescue, our ability to take in additional animals is directly tied to the availability of foster homes. However, we are still actively facilitating adoptions. Once we have successfully vetted our current animals and found them loving homes, or if we receive additional support and volunteers from the community, we will be able to welcome more animals in need. Until that time, we will be scaling back our operations to ensure the best care for our existing rescue pets. Thank you for your understanding.

I booked way less fur babies today than normal because I am so far behind on responding to messages! Today I will sit down and go through and respond to all! Thank y’all for being patient!
Also, who would be interested in gift certificates? I seen a message asking if I offered them and wanted to get some input to see who all would be interested before I got some made. You can select the amount and they can use it towards any appointment. Yall let me know 🫶

- Mashed Potatoes
