Chanson Bleu Serafina, a 3 year old sweet and loving girl is looking for a home. She loves to be pet and sit by your side. She can be calm and gentle but also likes interactive playtime with her people. She is a purr machine and as long as you are petting or cuddling her she will have her motor running. She's very smart, social and well behaved and will come if you call her. While she is quiet like most Chartreux she does try to talk and answer you from time to time in the softest voice. She likes other cats however she is best suited with either a young male kitten as she only ever had one kitten so she tends to adopt other male kittens, likely because hers was a boy. She also does well with other calm female cats. She's very calm and independent.
Serafina has undefined allergies which have brought on asthma. Her asthma has not required an inhaler or breathing treatments; however, she was given a liquid steroid by our vet to use when she has flare ups. She this takes without issue. She has asthma attacks about once every few months, she takes her liquid meds for three days and is usually over it until a few months later when she needs them again. Vet says lungs are clear but flare ups could get better with a different environment or climate.
