Huge thanks to Sierra Pacific Region Pony Club for putting on a great Camp! One of our members did the Horse Management track and learned how to show a horse on the triangle, how to evaluate a horse’s balance and basic conformation, discussed unsoundnesses, participated in a leg dissection to learn the bones, tendons, and ligaments, practiced teaching techniques, and discussed longeing equipment and techniques. It was a great prep for her upcoming upper level H-B certification! Despite the heat, we had fun connecting with old and making new Pony Club friends! 💙🐴📚

Festive Pony Club fun today! We had jingle bells on a spoon races down Elf Lane, stocking stuffing with candy canes, and racing Santa’s milk and cookies and reindeer’s carrots to his Christmas plates. And no competition is complete without a victory lap! 🎅🏻🎄🐎
