Organic urban farming/ gardening means not spraying chemicals (such as Round Up) for weeds or pesticides EVER and not purchasing gmo/ non organic seeds. Today after all the damn rain we’ve had I’m out here pulling all these weeds after work and reminding myself of this very important message that I posted 9 years ago. Round Up kills our bees and literally kills every single microbe in your soil, making gardening impossible for you and your neighbors. Please consider this as you put in the hard work to pull the weeds. It’s good for you and our planet. Bless 🌍 🌱. Let’s keep our earth growing. 💪✌🏽💚 💫

You know what makes my day?

Waking up is one thing, but then coming home in the hot evening and enjoying these Peach Faced Lovebirds in my backyard. All because I created a lil ecosystem right here in Mesa. The best part about them beyond their harmonic sound is, they scare away the bad birds that eat my tomatoes and cucumbers. The only thing they’re interested in is my sunflower seeds. It’s all full circle and so beautiful the way Mother Nature does her magic right before your eyes. 🙏🏽💫💚
