Today, we honor Juneteenth—the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

It’s a day of liberation, a day of truth, and a day to remember that freedom should never be delayed—and never denied.

At Rainbow Grooming, we believe that freedom, dignity, and love are rights every being deserves. We proudly celebrate Juneteenth as a reminder that the fight for justice is ongoing, and that we all have a part to play in building a more inclusive, compassionate world.

And if we ever forget how to love without judgment—just look to our pets.

Animals are colorblind to race and love their humans unconditionally.

Let’s learn from them. Let’s live like that.
