A well trained dog enriches both the dog's life and the owner's. At Schutz K9 we are passionate about building a better relationship with your dog. We offer private sessions either in home or a comfortable place at the owners discretion. At the initial session, we will discuss your goals for your pup. We will perform an in depth assessment of the dog. We are looking at a multitude of topics that i
nclude temperament, drive, socialization and experiences the dog has had. A personalized training plan will be developed based on the assessment. Our plans are for the owner and the dog. Each private session we work together as a team. To build a healthier relationship, we will teach you how to read and communicate on a higher level. Once we are confident that the communication is clear, Schutz K9 will leave you with a maintenance training schedule. Just as you have built a better relationship with your dog, we believe in relationships too. We encourage all our customers to share their success stories with us. If a issue/question comes up. *Puppies
It takes a special person to raise a puppy. These "new to you" dogs will look to you for all of their needs. Puppies can be difficult for first time dog owners. We highly encourage you take advantage of the critical learning periods for puppies. What they learn and are exposed to at a young age will affect them for the rest of their lives.
*Rescues
We believe all dogs deserve a second chance. So first, we want to thank you for giving these dogs that chance. These special dogs come to us for a variety of reasons. The hardest part is not knowing what their life was before. It's our job to make them feel safe and loved again. Let us work with you to make the transition as seamless as possible. We also provide an assessment to a variety of environmental conditions in an effort to avoid a negative experience.
