This sweet girl is 8 years old today. We had a party with hats and puzzle games and a nice tub of special birthday biscuits from her mom that all the dogs got to share in. Not sure they liked the hats and can’t wait to play with the puzzle some more.

Such intense focus. The power of R+.
How long will they maintain this focus for the reward? A. A very long time if it is randomly rewarded and criteria is “ping ponged”. Meaning as you build the duration to 10 20 or 30 seconds - ping pong your givi giving the rewards at various times of 5 seconds - immediately - 6 seconds 10 seconds 3seconds. Etc etc etc. so fun to train this way

GRIN Phoenix recovering from a neuter and tooth extraction. He had a stressful time leaving for his vet appointment. And coming back. He needed his stuffy for moral support. He couldn’t be cuter.

These two boys needed some fun so we set up a snifari today and helped them find all the hidden treats. I learned that Miles and Baker are treat snobs lol. They found all of them but only ate the fancy ones.

We are looking to add a part-time animal loving care giver to this small but busy and active boarding and training facility in Geauga county. The dogs were all spot on for recalls but I caught these to share. Adoptable GRIN Puddles had such a good time in class he burned off extra energy later. It was a good day here today.
