Originally from the Diamond HMA in Nevada. Rebel has been domesticated since 2013.
Perks: Rebel has beautiful, floating, and flashy gaits for such a little horse. He is incredibly willing to please and will make someone a great dressage horse or trail mount (or both). He has been trail ridden in Uwharrie (by previous owners). I have not had the opportunity to take him out in the past year and a half that I have had him. Loads and bathes and stands for farrier. UTD on shots, coggins, and teeth floating. Rebel is barefoot and has rock solid feet that grow very slowly. Best part is that he stays fat on air. Super fuel efficient! No health or lameness issues.
Quirks: He is not suitable for a beginner. If his rider is confident, he is confident. But if his rider is nervous, he is very nervous. Also, if left in a pasture to be a horse for 10 months, he will forget that he is, in fact, well broke to ride. However, after a few minutes in the round pen, he settles down. That being said, when worked consistently (even just 1-2 times per week), Rebel is a solid citizen.
