Have plenty of water.. and shade..
Avoid mid day heat..
Have a kiddie pool if available
Avoid dog houses!! They actually hold alot of heat!!
Know the signs of a heat stroke in dogs:

Excessive panting
Difficulty breathing
Lethargic or drowsy
Excessive drooling
Collapsed or vomiting
