The LAST video from the facility. Looking forward to Group classes & Private lessons starting back in January 2024!
We were back with Mia and Moca tonight working on some of their issues. Tonight was loose-leash walking. They have had a huge issue with pulling; wanting to be out front; and distractions.
We have tethered them together and they are doing much better. Also keeping them on tether in doors to stop the bathroom issues whenever, wherever they are in the house. This has helped in that as well.
Video is of dad walking them on their street.
Pepper showing Szva that she just needs to Sit & watch. Szva agrees and said, "... these 2 are nuts!" 🤣
Remi on her morning run & play time w/ Szva. "Catch me if you can, Szva!" :)
Ms. Pepper, like Remi, still pulls a bit but getting better. She also likes to keep her nose to the ground. We are using treats to refocus her attention to the handler.
She is doing much better on her Sit / Stay / Recall.
The pups love this cooler weather for working today.
Aussies, by nature of their breed, love to be out front and pull.
Putting Remi in a prong collar has done wonders for her in stopping that issue.
Dolly working working with dad
Getting in AM & PM sessions with Remi. She is settling in and doing better
Ms Pepper & Ms Remi meeting each other outside of the kennels.
Both want to play, but Remi has to earn her right to be off leash right now with her Recall.
Working on socialization.
Remi, the cute little Aussie that xame in Friday, has NO RECALL !!!!
We put her on a 20' leash and she broke it and she will only let us so close with treats, then runs off again :( :(
Pepper's first day of work starts with her leash walk. She is very high energy & likes to pull.
She is getting used to the Prong collar and leash pressure guidance today.
Great class tonight! Video 1
Szva & Stella having play time this morning.
Back working w/ Stella and her Loose Leash walk. She is getting better and not pulling as much.
When we stop walking, her Sit is getting better as well.
Working on Stella's confidence.
Stella has had a few days to settle in, so training started today.
Mom's big issue was her leash walking & not pulling. That's where we started.
Szva demonstrates the Stair Climb for the residents.
