I’ve made the difficult decision to quit showing and sell off my herd and all rabbit supplies.
When we started showing in youth back in 2021 it was a way for me and my kids to spend family time together doing what we loved. We did so well in youth and I’m really proud of all we accomplished! Eventually they discovered other passions and lost interest in showing altogether. I decided to try showing by myself in open last year since I still really enjoyed the rabbits and seeing all my rabbit friends! I started working again and have had less time to devote to the rabbits. Our weekends are busy and I can rarely even make it to shows these days. I paused all breeding over the winter and spring to take time to really think about what I wanted to do. It makes me so sad to see them go, but I’ve decided it’s best to let them go to people who can use them to their full potential. I’m really going to miss the hobby, and maybe someday when the kids are grown I can pick it back up again. I will be taking photos and listing what I have soon, so keep an eye out here.
