⚠️ Important company updates! ⚠️

Hello hello to everyone! I'm so happy to be welcoming 2023 by opening back up my training business. Due to recent changes in my living situation, I am now offering virtual and in person sessions.

In person in-home sessions are limited to Mesa and the surrounding cities, but if you're from further out we can meet up at a park or public area.

For virtual sessions I am very open for scheduling and have free virtual consultations available!

This Saturday we are back on board and having group class early at 8am at the valley humane society. Please feel free to message with any questions and to give a shout out if you’ll be stopping by!

This weeks group class will be held on Sunday July 10th! 🐾

Available to the community, bring your dog down for some fun training and bonding time together. Water and treats will not be provided so please make sure to bring your own 💧

Class fee is $20, reach out and secure your spot 🙌🏻

This upcoming group class at the Valley Humane Society! We meet at 8 in the parking lot. Equipment required for the class is a fixed leash and that your dog be in a collar or harness and leashes at all times.

This class is held so early due to the heat in Arizona 🌵 If for any reason we are unable to host the class due to extreme temperature or weather, it will be announced on my story 😁

Please make sure to bring water for your dog and yourself, as it does get warm even in the early morning.

The much awaited for group classes are finally available 🎉 We will be having our first group class this Saturday morning at 9am at the local Valley Humane Society (Casa Grande, AZ)

This is a class for beginner dogs to advanced dogs and everything in between to get an opportunity to socialize and be worked with around distractions and others.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, and get your spot before there aren’t any left 🤩 See you all very soon ☀️

(Due to the condition of the weather, reserving your spot also means you will be notified if for any reason unforeseen circumstances change the ability to host the class given that it is outdoors. Class is held earlier in the summer to make sure dogs are not being worked outside in heat exceeding 90F)

Let me tell y’all about Soldier 💜

He’s a good boy at the Valley Humane Society here in Casa Grande, AZ. Soldier was found wandering the desert 🏜 by himself and in Arizona that is so very dangerous

After two months of being at the shelter, I finally got the chance to meet him and start working with him. We’ve begun building trust and a foundation in vocabulary.

His biggest struggles right now are allowing a leash to be put on him and to be touched by someone. With time, I have no doubt we will be able to help Soldier overcome all obstacles and find his forever home 🏡

Absolutely incredible first day of the seminar 👃 Odor pays: foundation is such a learning experience 🤩 Extremely humbled and appreciative of being able to be around so many talented trainers and handlers

Everyone loves the fancy tricks and engaged dogs who have no regard for others as their trainer instructs them through training routines

What doesn’t get shown most of the time is this. The behind the scenes, hours of repetition (accumulated hours 😂). The work the handler goes into to coordinate timing, reward, time of voice, physical movements to set up their dog to succeed and so on.

Appreciate the work you see because it was not given, it was earners through hard work

THE IMPORTANCE OF DESENSITIZING YOUR DOG TO BEING RESTRAINED is incredibly valuable

This is Niklaus, a young Ditch shepherd who happens to belong to my partner got cut open the other day while out and about. Nothing serious, and it was an easy clean out and fix. BUT being able to restrain him was critical.

Setting your dog up for success means training things that you don’t need till it happens sometimes. So yes, muzzle train your dog. Accustom your dog to being physically restrained. Get your dog used to crates and confined spaces. Make it a positive before something happens that may make it a negative 🙌
