Dachshunds, often affectionately known as "wiener dogs," are a small breed with a unique appearance and a big personality. Originating in Germany, these dogs were initially bred for hunting badgers, which explains their long bodies and short legs. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties: smooth, long-haired, and wire-haired, each bringing its own charm. They typically weigh between 9 to 32 pounds and stand about 8 to 9 inches tall at the shoulder. Their playful and curious nature makes them great companions, though they can be a bit stubborn at times. One of the most endearing traits of dachshunds is their loyalty and affection toward their families. They are known to be brave and often have a strong protective instinct despite their small size. Socialization and training from a young age are essential to help them develop into well-rounded pets. Hello everyone, thanks for being patient.
We will be taking a priority list soon for our cream babies that are due at the end of February.
We will be uploading pictures of the parents on our website this weekend.
I will let you all know when we take the waitlist which will consist of only 2.
Again, this is only for priority as we don't do a regular wailist anymore.
