Your dog doesn’t need thanksgiving dinner. 🦃They can get pancreatitis.

Alternative: canned pumpkin (no spices), PLAIN cooked turkey breast, plain green beans.

OR just make them their own ground turkey and rice for a “special” low fat meal. You’ll thank me later.

Wow, I haven’t been on Facebook much, and I can’t believe I missed these posts from Soldiers 6!

Everyone remember Grace.. my escape artist?! (I may have named her Chasing Grace)😂.

She was one of the pups that stayed a little longer with me, while her Human prepared for her arrival - just due to the time of when she found us and what things she needed for her (specifically a fence!)

I haven’t even had the chance to post the footage of all the times I had to go chasing after her 😂 hence “chasing grace”.

She is chasing a career to be part of a Mobile Crisis Team by first responders to Mental Health Emergencies; she will travel all over the state responding to calls and helping save some lives❤️

So excited to watch her journey into her career.

This guy is officially en route to his new home in Alaska! 🏔️✈️💕 (he was with his new owner in MN this week, waiting for his flight).

I didn’t expect it from him, but he was a little homesick this week. On Wednesday I went to visit by request, he’d gone on a little hunger strike. The way he lit up to familiar kisses while sound asleep is something I’ll never forget.
I’ve never had a pup get homesick, even the ones that stayed with me until 12+ weeks, but I was especially close with him.

I worried that visiting might make it harder for him, but instead he seemed to understand this wasn’t just a fun sleepover. Once he realized the leash had been passed, he settled right in like the amazing dog he is.

I guess he just needed a few more kisses 😘 before heading off to his forever home in Alaska. 🏔️🐾

This will be the final call for this stunning boy. I’m very intentional about where he goes, as he deserves a home that will bring him to his full potential. Training will be starting soon, and once it does, his price will reflect that.
