Here at DoubleDown Retrievers, we breed, raise, train and compete (in both conformation and performance venues) with our Golden Retrievers. We do extensive health and genetic testing as well as personality testing to ensure we are only breeding for the betterment of the breeds. Most of our dogs have a long pedigree of accomplished, health and genetic tested ancestors, and a great mind and "off switch" that make wonderful companions who also excel as Therapy and Service dogs.

Can we please have a moment of silence for our dear sweet Kami. We are devastated 💔 by the loss of her beautiful soul. Kami left us and crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. For the last 10 years we have been blessed to know, love, and snuggle with Kami. She was the best at knowing when one of us needed extra love. She was always ready to jump in the car for a road trip or sit in front of the tv and veg out with snacks. She was the goodest girl ❤️ Thank you sweet doggo for giving us unconditional love and companionship. We will not forget you and you will forever be missed.
