Meet Kita, a 16.1H chestnut mare with solid bone structure and a great, quiet temperament. Kita has completed 6 post-track rides and is still RRP 2025 eligible, offering a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a talented young horse that can go in any direction.
Kita is the epitome of a kind, hardworking mare. She has excellent ground manners – she’s easy to handle, stands quietly for grooming, tacking, and general care. She has no vices (biting, rearing, bolting, or bucking) and her calm, steady nature makes her an absolute pleasure to work with.
While still in the early stages of her retraining, Kita has already proven herself to be a brave and athletic horse. She’s jumped 2’ courses with plenty of scope and a bold, confident attitude. She’s been on several trail rides, including a ride off the farm and through a winery, and took it all in stride without hesitation – she would be a great candidate for eventing!
Kita’s easygoing personality extends beyond the arena: she is great for the farrier, loads and ties like a pro, and is unfazed by new surroundings or challenges. She has a lot of potential in several disciplines, and with the right training, she could excel in just about anything.
She is up to date on everything and is ready to continue her training with a new owner who is ready to take her to the next level. Whether you're looking for a brave eventing prospect, a future hunter, or a versatile all-around partner, Kita is a wonderful option.
