“I should have written a review for Roots and Dr. Lassin years ago but I felt inspired to today since we’ve had nothing but excellent experiences since joining his practice from the very beginning of their opening including our most recent needs for our senior dog that happened this morning. Dr. Lassin has already helped us with a diabetic senior dog, a mysterious and terrifying neck issue resulting in surgery with our other dog, and is currently supporting us with that same dog getting glaucoma and needing his eye removed. Roots does it differently. I have horror stories from past vets lacking bedside manner, not being comprehensive in what they are doing service wise, and being dismissive of my passion for holistic health care, herbalism enhancements, and natural care options for our pets. Roots has been stellar from the start and we’ve been going here for years. I have nothing but gratitude for how Dr. Lassin and his entire team show up every day. I own a small business myself and know that the operational aspect of it is SO hard but to do it on top of being the primary doctor while also caring for people and their pets in some of their most stressful life moments seems impossible to me. They do it though - and they do it with grace, poise, and care every single day. They have a waitlist for a REASON and they work really hard to support as many animals they can. It’s a locally owned practice and they deserve your patience, kindness, and willingness to hang out on a waitlist for a bit. Yes, bigger corporate owned vets can see you sooner. If you’re willing to wait though, you’ll receive their genuine care. We appreciate you Roots :) “
