North Carolina is paw-fect! Trails & tails life with the paw-rentals.
We made a stop in Daytona, FL on our way to North Carolina with the paw-rentals 🐾🚙
Arti went for his annual check up and Milo went with him. Arti is skeptic of new people, where Milo is a fan of everyone that crosses his path. I have Milo join so Arti feels more comfortable and confident during his vet visit. I always advocate for my pup by letting the vet techs know to not force their hand to have him sniff them or take a treat from them. I let them know it’s best to ignore him and allow him to sniff them on his terms and to not reach out to pet him as he will pull away because he’s not familiar with them. My Arti is a ball of cuddles with his family but no one else and guess what world?! That’s okay! I as his dog mom will continue to communicate my dogs comfort level so he always feels safe around me. 🥰🐾💚
A little hug from my baby boy. 🐾🫂
Happy fourth of July 🥳🇺🇸🎆 We are celebrating indoors and making sure Artimus feels cozy and relaxed.
He is doing great and for Milo it's just another night. 🌙🌑🌕

Don't shave your dog, as it might make them hotter in summer and creates health risks. Instead, try these grooming and safety tips to keep them cool.

The moments in between that you find peace ☮️ outweigh the days you spent…

Dealing with them fixating on finding fallen fruit in our back yard. (Both)
When you have to clean up vomit because they are something you didnt see but as your cleaning you see it’s a bunch of little rotten mangos 🥭 (mostly Milo the food fein)
Training your dog and building a bond requires you to work past all this and more. ❤️ At the end it’s worth it!
What have you dealt with with your furry best friend?!?!!
So can I put the dead lizard corps in my mouth? 🦎🦎🦎Why you make me drop it? 🥲
“Pets, it turns out, also have last wishes before they die, but only known by veterinarians who put old and sick animals to sleep. Twitter user Jesse Dietrich asked a vet what was the most difficult part of his job.
The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep. The fact is that 90 % of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal. People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realize that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.
Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end. ′′It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life. Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them.
Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like. It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life. They dont understand why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner’s consolation.
Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are completely strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you. Think about the pet. Endure this pain for the sake of their sake. Be with them until the end.”

When going on walks make sure to take the following:
For you:
Sunglasses 🕶️
Sunblock 🧴
Water 💦
For your dog:
Harness or leash 🐕🦺
Treats (they’re favorite so you get their attention on you when you need it) 😋
Poopy bags 💩
A toy 🎾
If you want your dog to play fetch. I recommend a long lead leash on a harness. Any areas that is not your home is not safe for your pet.
Before letting them loose in a new area try a long lead to measure they’re reaction to things in that space. After a few times if you see your dog is happy and comfortable you can decide if it’s good to let them off leash.
You may also want to inspect the area for anything that can get your dog sick; cane frogs, duck p**p (has parasites), toxic plants and or sitting water that can have bacteria before letting them roam free.
The goodest boy! 11 months old now🤩🐾🥰
Let your dog help your reach mindfulness every morning with a walk. Good for them, great for you! 💕🐾
The goal of everyday is to get them mentally and physically tired enough to relax.
This is probably even more important if you have a puppy in order to prevent them from engaging in undesirable behaviors.
