Do you know what you are getting when you spend all that money on your puppy? Yes- you should be getting a healthy poppy. No fleas, no worms, no serious health conditions ect….
But here’s a list of things your breeder should also be doing for your puppy to get it ready to come home to you.
1. Keeping the pen clean of f***s everyday. If your puppy gets used to a clean area to live - they will not want to potty in their living environment.
2. Plenty of exercise outside of the pen. They should be developing their muscles early so when they go home to you - they aren’t at risk for injury when you start running and playing with them.
3. Socialization- with other pets and different people. Exposing them to people and other dogs early helps your puppy not be scared of everything later in life.
4. Beginning of potty training on the grass. Your puppy should know what it means to potty in the grass when you get it. Although it won’t be trained - it should have had some practice in.
5. Weaned. You puppy should be on softened food and weaned from moms milk by the time you get it. Also weaned from sleeping and spending all its time with mom so it isn’t such a hard transition away from her.
A good breeder will also give you food that the puppies have been eating to transition it to the food you will be feeding. Change of food is hard for puppies and will cause some loose stools.

It’s not always just about the puppy and the breed.. Make sure you are paying for more then that. Pay for where it came from and what kind of start it got to help give you and your puppy the most success. ❤️

We have had lots of interest in the puppies the last couple of weeks. They do all have homes. So thankful for such great families who want them. We plan to breed Cuba our brindle in the spring and would expect a lot of the same colors. If you have interest in a spring or early summer puppy - we can put your name on the wait/watch list.

Disclosure. We Will NOT just sell a puppy to just anyone. We want someone who wants to treat their puppy/dog as part of their family. I would rather give the puppy away to someone that I know will love a puppy to pieces than to someone who asks me “ which dog can I have”? Or “which dog is available and I will pick it up today” without even seeing pictures.
So- keep that in mind when looking into buying our puppies. We put a lot of love and time into our dogs and I would expect whoever gets a puppy to do the same.
