We started this journey March of 2020. We had been traveling and when we were sidelined by the pandemic, we went to a friend's land and plugged in for an unknown amount of time. While we were twiddling our thumbs, we saw where people were having trouble moving their pets. We had a light bulb moment and we just knew that this was the path that God had set us on, back when we sold our house in 2019. We have been challenged by the evil dude downstairs and God just keeps bringing us back, better and more determined. We were hit by a semi (in our motorhome) on our 1st puppy run on April 1st of 2020, yes April Fool's Day, but it was no joke. All pups were unharmed and delivered safely. We take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. Then we regrouped, healed up and jumped back in. This was God's plan and we had to listen, right! We got another motorhome and got back to work, if you call it that. Then in July 2020, our brakes went out over Teton Pass. For those of you who don't know, it is a 10% mountain grade and it was night time. Another not so great situation, orchestrated by the guy in hell. We were told by several people that we shouldn't have survived, but we did. Even during all this, we still continued to take animals where they needed to go. Then, I was hospitalized with COVID pneumonia in January 2021. Guess what ! I left the hospital 4 days later and after 20 days of quarantine in Wyoming, you guessed it, back to puppy time. After 150 animals, we quit counting and I couldn't tell you what the number is now. So now here we are, deciding to make this a permanent "job". We still don't consider it a job, we have too much fun and we love our little and big sidekicks. We haven't made money doing this. What we do make, we put back into helping veterans and shelter/rescues. My husband is a disabled veteran and I am just a bum, along for the ride. We have been married for 25 years and have 2 grown kids, yes they are still our kiddos. We enjoy traveling and taking pets along for the ride, is just a bonus. Oh yeah, our name Puppy Time Transport, comes from running on "puppy time". We do what the fur babies want to do; so we can be late, sometimes. So here we go....on with the next chapter. Puppy Time Transport, is a labor of love.
