Wow, about two and a half weeks ago my life changed forever. My dad and my mom brought home a little whirlwind named Pyro.
Now I am a West German show line German Shepherd, I think I have the looks of the family, but for some reason dad decided our family needed a brand new pup. He's a West German working line, he's pretty fiesty but dang if he's not pretty cute. I guess we're both trying to work this out. He sure loves my mom and dad a lot, so he can't be all bad. Anyway, good luck little bro.

Tracking is one of the three phases of Schutzhund, they have to follow normal footsteps that have been laid on a field. The dog must also indicate individual articles that are laid on the track in a few places. The articles are fabric, wood, and leather. The dog must indicate them. Tukka downs on them. This is just a relaxed practice so I talk to him a bit more than in an actual trial. I decided to shoot the vid after we had tracked for a few minutes. What the dog is actually smelling is the scent difference between disturbed and undisturbed ground.
